XTC is such a great band. The track "Dear God" should be on your list. The official video is something to behold.

While I may not know of much Jeff Beck (RIP), this reaction will scratch so many itches for me. Thanks guys!

Mayor of Simpleton is my favorite XTC song. Always makes me smile. "Black Sea" or "English Settlement" would be good album reactions.

Thanks for the reaction to this, I'm glad you enjoyed the songs. Thank you for posting it here as well. I must've watching this at least a dozen times so far lol.

Neil's lyrics always bring the heat! Bernie Taupin and Neil were the 2 greatest lyricists of the last 50 years... "We can go from boom to bust From dreams to a bowl of dust We can fall from rockets' red glare Down to, "Brother Can You Spare" Another war Another wasteland Another lost generation"

Signals and Grace Under Pressure is the period where New Wave-era Rush really kicked in.I saw them on both of those tours, and it was surprising to see people leaving halfway through the Grace Under Pressure set in 1984. Well, it was an outdoor festival in Dallas, TX, and hard rock fans had been sitting in the sun all day. Plus, I think Texas was much more into the pre-Signals era of Rush.
