Please know how grateful we are for each of you being here and deciding to contribute a bit more to the channel by having voting power and the ability to let us know what you'd like to hear - it's really helpful in many ways!

We hope you enjoy the holidays ahead with friends family, surrounded by love and warmth. 💖

Warm hugs to all from us,

Lex, Nick & Marley

Lots of great choices!!

JK

I predict one of these choices will be unbeatleable.

Michael Gray

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is one of my favorite albums of all time. I was just a kid when this came out but I could not stop listening to it as my older brother bought it. These are all really great choices. I mean really great.

Ken Thomas

I know and love all of these albums (except Simple Things, which I'll check out), but Sgt. Pepper's is an absolute Beatles masterpiece and crowning achievement. I still hear new things when I listen to it so many years later. For me, the choice wasn't even close.

Lee Haskin

Simple Things is fantastic, but a completely different genre than the others.

Richard Dobson

Just last night I watched a BBC documentary made by composer Howard Goodall on how groundbreaking an achievement Sgt. Pepper is. I use the present tense as in my mind it is still as relevant today as it was in 1967. I can't wait to hear your reaction Nick and Alexia.

KevB(rewski)

This is what we call "a slam dunk".

Stephen Caruso

Sgt Pepper of course but I wish you could do some of the others too but time constraints prohibit that plus Alexia's back

Scott Anderson

This seems like a done deal. You can’t make any reasonable arguments or say it shouldn’t win. So Good Morning Good Morning and hello RITA. I am also 64 years old this year so why not. It’s another day in the life and with a little help from my friends maybe Joe Jackson can win the next poll. Or maybe I’m just fixing a hole.

Calvin Boaz

I am choosing Band on the Run so I can play along. I have never heard the full album. I own Sgt Pepper.

Richard Dobson

It will be for the benefit of Nick and Alexia!

Scott Anderson

Yes of course. I can’t wait to hear the reaction to whatever gets selected. I am actually 64 so I would have heard the album and that song when I was 8 years old. I remember hearing when I’m 64 on the radio and wondering what being that old would be like. I still have all my hair, happily. A great album full of great songs I always thought that digging a hole was about self introspection. The album is a masterpiece that set the table for everything else. As always lots of good choices and only one winner. Band on the Run is another great choice I’d love to watch them react too.

KevB(rewski)

Its getting better all the time. If I had to pick fav tunes from Sgt Pepper they probably would be Getting Better, Being for the Benefit of Mr Kite, and Fixin a Hole. But its an album that the sum is greater than the individual parts, the flow of the album as a whole is the reward. I love Band on the Run, it along with Chicago V I think were my first purchased albums with my own lawnmower $$. So eventually I'd like to see N&L react to Band on the Run, but it makes logical sense for them to digest Sgt Pepper first (and then The White Album and Abbey Road 😁)......

KevB(rewski)

You can draw a line from Sgt Pepper to Dark Side of the Moon, with many branches growing out in all different directions as Progressive Rock "took root" from 1967 to 1973 and beyond as it expanded in exploration and experimentation.

KevB(rewski)

Band on the Run was probably the very first album I bought with my own $$ back in late 73 or early 74. Played that album to death. Closest thing to a Beatles album back then.
