So, figured I'd mention that whatever had been happening with the latest update and whatever had been kicking me in the balls recently causing crashes and other bothers and such, which often cut my projects short or made me figure something wasn't quite worth doing at the time. Well, I've got that sort of under control now I think, excepting issues with slider values set by MCCC that don't seem to properly save anymore (this is what I use to set heights, which honestly probably isn't too important to any of you, more of a me thing). However I should be good to go again basically I think, and at the moment am kind of trying to start up another video project, since I feel like it's been too long. The sad bit abotu that is that I've actually had some false starts this year and projects I had to abandon because I was having so many problems with the game, and because in this one instance I probably got a bit too ambitious with the number of sims and such I was working with. But I still have the roughly 3 minutes I managed to get out of that, before I just started running into too many problems attempting to continue. So while it's very anticlimactic and doesn't even really get to the good stuff, I still am fairly happy with the little I did manage to get in here. So enjoy that if you want and hopefully I'll manage to get another video started and finished sometime in not too long.

Regarding the slider values using MCCC, this issue killed me for weeks with my own personal sims, but I eventually figured it out. With the intro of B&H, there are certain number values that the game "can't read" if you use MCCC to fine tune it to the decimal. This will usually cause the sim's entire body to reset to 0 in live mode. However, all you have to do to figure out the "bad value" is to adjust and observe the sliders in CAS. If it's a "bad value", the body part will do sort of like a "snap"... like it's snapping back to a setting the game can read, i.e. the slider won't be smooth when manually dragging it. You have to eyeball it and determine which one is causing it. It's a pain, but it works.

This would explain why some sims mysteriously snap back to 0 and others don't. Going to experiment with this on my end

I'm basically doing this, the eyeballing. It helps that the only values I do set with MCCC is the value for my height slider, so it's sort of possible to eyeball that and get close, then check the slider values in live mode and (if necessary) go back into CAS to make adjustments.
