In short, the plaintiff withdrew the lawsuit too soon. Today, I went to court to discuss the asset division and sign the successful conciliation agreement. It was pretty anticlimactic. I guess the fact that I hired a lawyer and was fully prepared for a legal battle discouraged the other side, so they agreed to end everything quickly and voluntarily. Anyway, it’s finally over. Everyone gets their share, and this whole headache can finally come to an end.

I will send all of this money to my mother, because that’s what she truly deserves after suffering for all these past decades.
