Greetings, my fellow savages!

I was finally able to export this vlog! 😅 If you're on my Snapchat level you may have already seen that I was having trouble all week. It wasn't even a space issue this time, it was just taking so long for my laptop to process because the original files, before being sped up, were hours long. 🙃

Plus I added a bunch of different music & voice overs. I considered breaking this up into two parts because the making of the prosthetic is such a huge chunk of the video, but it just felt right to keep it all together.

So I hope you enjoy a behind-the-scenes look into the making of my Two Face cosplay from Batman Forever!

This was my first Twitch cosplay I did last year, right at the end of September, and if you missed the stream you may not have even seen anything about it because I don't think I posted a single thing afterward. 😅

I wasn't super happy with how it turned out. I think I just had a perfect image in my mind and it didn't turn out that way. I wasn't crazy about body-painting the suit, but mostly I was not happy with the application of the prosthetics. They did not blend how I had hoped. I think I didn't make the edges thin enough.

What I WAS happy with, however, was:

This was my first time making my own prosthetic and it was really fun!

I thought the side mouth piece in particular looked really good by itself, especially for a first time!

I felt so unsure what to do about the hair, but the wig ended up coming together really easily, and using one I already had! (recycled from HIMM from The Powerpuff Girls)

In retrospect, this costume was not bad. I can appreciate it more now, lol. It just felt more "costume-y" and less like an accurate cosplay which is where I set my expectations.

I also need to give myself some grace because I did this in like two days if I'm not mistaken. 😂

I forgot to mention in the vlog, (and I was not about to redo the voiceover, lol) that it was also a struggle to figure out what colors to use. In some pics he looks various shades of purple, in others he looks more pink. I think I made the right choice going more on the purple side.

Here are some time stamps for your convenience:

00:00 - 22:27: Making of the Prosthetics

22:28 - 25:22: The Wig

25:23 - 27:30: Body Paint

27:31 - 30:10: Makeup

30:11 - 31:24: Final Look

Also, how bomb was this soundtrack??

Stay classy my friends!

I think you laid out this whole vlog just right. The biggest part of Two-face is the prosthetic. As you said, more cosplay less costume-y. So, it being your first time, it was interesting and fun to see you do that WHOLE process! The powder & peeling was a little nerve-wracking.😅 But, glad it worked out! Then add the hair, body paint, and applying everything to your face...SO much more appreciation for what you went through to bring Two-face to life!👏

I always love these kinds of vlogs! It’s always great to see the amount of effort you put into these and how much you love to adventure and try new things with the cosplays! I’m still so happy this won being a last minute suggestion and the first of the year to set the bar to an epic year of cosplays! I said it before and I’ll say it again ESPECIALLY after watching this vlog! The effort you put into this cosplay and all your cosplays is sexy!
