[INTERVIEW] I Scream for Daffney! (Patreon)

Greetings, my fellow savages!

Marti and I are giving you an exclusive first listen to our interview we did last year with our friend & absolute legend, Daffney.

This was initially intended to be aired for NWA Girl Powerrr Ep 4. It was recorded on June 15, 2020, three days before then-NWA VP Dave Lagana was outed during the Speaking Out movement. At that point, all NWA Youtube content ceased, including Girl Powerrr, and the episode was never even edited.

We tried to continue Girl Powerrr last summer, ("we", as in the girls on the roster & in the office) but we kept getting pushback. Almost a year later, Marti and I feel confident that NWA has no intention of ever using this interview, so we thought, "What the hell? The world needs to hear Daffney's story!" She was open, honest, and very generous with her time. She spoke very candidly about a lot of deep topics, and we feel we owe it to her to publish it.

I did reach out to Daffney again to send her the interview and make sure she's still okay with it being published. A lot can change in a year! She's in the process of finding me bunch of pictures to go along with her stories.

I will be editing a final version of this interview in the next few weeks for Youtube, which will include a much more "watchable" video - personal photos, videos, etc! Right now, you all have early access to essentially the podcast version. There technically is a "video" with it, but it's a still screen the whole time. We wanted to make sure you get first access way ahead of the public premiere! (and, with the slight chance that this never becomes public for whatever reason)
