Another throwback from the SHINE days, why many of us bonded so much, and why I miss those days!

Pictured is me, Havok, Joyce Grable, Diane Von Hoffman, and Su Yung on a booze cruise in Tampa. Not pictured: Another wrestler from their generation: Sabrina. (she was taking the picture)

The cruise was called, as Diane would yell out several times that night, and any time she would see me or Havok or message us on Facebook: The CALYPSOOOOOOO! 😂

If you don't know anything about these ladies, Joyce and Sabrina are both former NWA Women's Tag Team Champions! (with different partners) Joyce is also a former NWA United States Women's Champion, when they used to have a separate women's singles championship.

Diane was one of the last remaining Moolah trainees, and she wrestled all over the world with Leilani Kai. She had some crazy stories about Japan. She was so entertaining to be around for the brief time I knew her. She passed away after knee surgery 4 years ago last month. One of the last messages I have from her, she's talking about coming back to SHINE and going on a party boat, lol. RIP Diane! 🖤
