Happy New Year, my fellow savages! 🥳

I hope you are all safe and comfortable going into the new year, regardless of whether you're celebrating or went to bed before midnight!

Last year I was getting LITTY TITTY into the New Year at Chelsea's wedding in Vegas! This year I was chilling with my cats. 😂 I was invited to hang out with Chelsea again in Orlando this year, but just couldn't reasonably make it happen.

(But, I am happy to be not traveling right now!)

I'm combining my 2022 Recap Video and Reflection into one post this year:

Click here to watch one second for (almost) every day of my 2022!

Duration: 6:02

2022 is the first year in a long time that I didn't feel great about when reminiscing on it, until I made this recap video. When you're not feeling great in general, it's easy to lose sight of all the good things that have happened, and all the things you have to be grateful for.

I started talking about this a little on Twitch recently, but I cannot stress enough how important tracking is for your goals. If you have goals and you're not measuring your progress, it will be very easy to get discouraged and/or lost. For me, that includes keeping track of the good that happens in general, no matter how big or small. I guess the "goal" for that is really keeping my mental health in check in general. This business can be really rough, and not just physically. I make notes of good things that happen in my planner weekly, and at the end of the month I try to write down 10 good things that happened that month.

Not gonna lie, sometimes it's hard to think of 10. 😅 But even if I don't get to the full 10, it helps put things in perspective for me. I mention this because I know some of you feel like you had "meh" years, and I would be remiss to not talk about how I've been truly feeling this year before just moving on to the things I am grateful for. It's not all sunshine, rainbows, and Instagram highlights.

I have a handful of goals that I did not hit this year, (learn to sew gear, start therapy, pay off my car, hit my macros consistently for 12 weeks straight, lol) BUT there are a bunch I did hit and should be proud of. I finally got on a healthier sleep schedule, (that one will be a forever goal) I got on a consistent lifting schedule again, went on a family vacation, worked for AEW again, did more charity with my Twitch, hit up Halloween Horror Nights in both Orlando and LA! And two of my biggest highlights I'd say were:

Career Highlight: HEX the WORLD European Tour w/ Marti! 🥰

Spain and France were two countries I wanted to visit this year, and boy did we!

Personal Highlight: Earning my blue belt in jiujitsu 💙

Most importantly, (always but right now in particular) I am very grateful for my and my family's health.

Last year I said I was going to share some 2022 goals after the Reflection post, but I don't think I did. 😅

So here are some of my goals for 2023!

I already have another country in the works! But I don't want to announce it yet because I don't want to jinx it. 😅

I have a LOT of goals for my Twitch. I didn't really focus on Twitch for the first half of 2022. This year I want to get to 10k followers, 500 simultaneous subs, do more HGTs with guests, I have new show ideas to try out, and more!

Be more consistent with Youtube clips. I'm setting a low goal of posting one video (Twitch highlights, most likely) to Youtube per month, which is more than I did this year 😅

Sew at least one set of gear! Even if it's not good or wearable, I need to try!

Compete again in jiujitsu

Definitely start therapy. But for real this time. That was a goal of mine every month this year and I kept putting it off because it's expensive. 🥴 I believe everyone should try therapy if they can, even if you don't think you have any "problems". Being introspective isn't easy, and it's nice to have an uninterested third party to hash things out with.

I'm sure I'll add more in the next day or so when I start filling out my new planner!

If you have some goals and feel like sharing, post them in comments! If not, don't stress about it. I know people constantly asking what your goals are this time of year can also be annoying. 🤪

I appreciate you all. I could not do this without you. Literally, I would not have a Patreon if no one wanted to join it! Thank you for allowing me to live my dream as a pro wrestler traveling the world. Not many people make a living as one without a contract or a "real" job, and I can never thank you enough for making me one of the few!

Stay safe and classy out there my friends. Cheers to a wonderful and safe 2023 for you all!

I agree with every. single. part. of the therapy goal!!! I too had it all ready to go until I realized how much it’ll be. Which is why another goal is manage my money better after I’ve taken care of what I need to! WE CAN DO THIS!!!

Happy New Year!🎉 These 1-second a day video recaps are cool & I immediately went to re-watch last year's too! Sorry that you felt down about this past year b/c you did some amazing things in 2022, but it's definitely better to be honest about your feelings. Here's to an even better 2023 & can't wait to see what you do!🙌

After the last 18 months…pretty much a reboot. Loose 50 lbs, try to get healthy…and if anybody finds my confidence…please return it 🤣
