Non-Urgent Billing Update! (A Good One!) (Patreon)

TLDR: I finally switched billing from "monthly" to "subscription"! This will not affect any current patrons. You will still be charged on the first of the month since that's when you have already been being charged. Going forward, new patrons will simply be charged on the day they sign up and then one month from that date! (No more automatic beginning of the month confusion for people who sign up later in the month - this is exciting for me! Lol)

Here's a longer ramble for those who are interested:

Now that I can add videos directly to my Patreon posts, I was so excited to go back and add all vlogs/etc here and finally remove my need for Google Drive! But... I just realized that I'm not going to be able to do that, because on Patreon you have to select what type of post you're making in advance. Like you can't go back and add a photo album/video if that post was started as a "Text Only" post. I love Patreon, but they are so far behind in their creator capabilities, especially compared to Onlyfans. 🙃 

So, I can't go back and add videos to those old posts because I'd have to repost all of them. Which, with vlogs and Q&A would mean I'm posting dozens of new posts back to back right now. I don't want to do that, not because of the effort involved, but because it would spam you and everything would be out of order timeline-wise. That part would really bother me. 😂

The reason I was so excited to eliminate Google Drive is because that would mean one less third party thing I need to worry about giving/removing access to when people sign up or cancel. That was going to allow me to easily switch my billing here on Patreon from "monthly billing" to "subscription billing", meaning Patreon will no longer just charge people on the beginning of the month, but simply one month from the day you sign up! Which is ideal because it's much less confusing for people, especially those who sign up toward the end of a month. (there's a reason I would rarely ever push my Patreon after halfway through a month 🥴)

Even though I can't eliminate Google Drive right now, I'm saying "fuck it," and I'm switching my billing over anyway! 

So those old vids will remain in my Google Drive, and the old posts about them have the links that will take you there! Going forward, all new videos will be uploaded directly here to Patreon.

This will not affect any current patrons. You will still be charged on the first of the month since that's when you have already been charged. I will still have to manually add and remove access to Google Drive, which is not ideal, but at least patrons will have access to the majority of my newest content immediately upon signing up going forward.
