Notes on the contents of this pack:
This Highlight contains the first part of chapter 3-The Blood Red Fez
This chapter 3 is one of the longest in the campaign and will be divided into 3 Highlights

1-Map 01-Durward Street has a daytime version, so even if the action takes place at midnight, it's likely that your investigators will want to return to the location to question the other tenants.

2- The lounge at the Oriental Club is based on a photo. I've put paintings by Robert Clive of India on the walls, as mentioned in the book. You also have access to his library. I see this place as a kind of headquarters

3- Maps 04-Hanover-Tearoom and 05-Smith Apartment, are slightly more optional maps. They are reworkings and adaptations of previously produced maps. For Smith's apartment, I took a map from the 76-SOME APPARTMENTS A pack, removing all electric lamps and replacing them with kerosene lamps. For the record, a power station had already been opened in London (1882), but electrical appliances were still quite rare.
The Hanover Tearoom is a fictitious place, I named it Hanover after the neighborhood not far from the Oriental Club.
4-Matthew Pook's room varies according to the day you visit.
It's possible to find antagonist Bentley Burnham, who probably broke in (hence the broken window).

5-I'd like to take this opportunity to say that HOE presents a lot of living spaces. These can of course be reused in another context, in another scenario.
At the end of HOE, I'll be making a free pack for subscribers, in which I'll take each location and make it a little more neutral, so that it's easier to use.

Really enjoying your work ♡ thanks again!

Robert

03-Oriental Club-Library seems familiar? Is it based on an older map? Also, thank you for considering more neutral options for your maps, I use them for completely different systems!

Quite often I reuse certain maps as a base that I modify for the occasion, you're right I didn't mention them but for this one I started from 101-The Meeting Room. Oh I'm curious, for which system and which universe?

Robert

I use them for my own setting actually, Torch's End, mostly for D&D! The early 20th century ones serve great for flashforwards, while the more mystical ones, like the Carcosa ones, are fantastic for otherworldly realms. I'm also thinking other pieces could be very suitable for the Deadlands system! Thanks for your work and fueling our games <3.

Full Oriental Club would be nice. Lovely work, just starting my own campaing.
