Highlight-06 Horror on the Orient Express (Patreon)

Hi everyone,
Here's the Highlight-06 Pack for Horror on the orient Express.
Back in 1923, our investigators travel to Paris, researching at the Bibliothèque Nationale and the Bibliothèque de l'Arsenal. They find out about the Charenton asylum, and about a house in Poissy built on the land of a former estate belonging to a certain... Fenalik.
This pack contains the complete chapter 4-Les Fleurs du Mal

Notes on the contents of this pack:
This Highlight contains the chapter 4-Les Fleurs du Mal
First part of Chapter 5-The Dreamlands Express on the next Highlight !

1-Once in Paris, the book mentions 2 libraries: the Bibliothèque Nationale and the Bibliothèque de l'Arsenal for important research. You have both, based on photos.

2-The map 03-Charenton Asylum-offices-Rooms allows you to do 2 things: get information from Dr. Leroux and meet Guimart, a former asylum warden who became a patient after meeting Fenalik. 
So you've got desks, with a cardboard box or multiple locked drawers where you can keep binding documents. You also have some patients kept in the rooms next door.

3-The map 04-Charenton Asylum-Fenalik Cellar shows you where Fenalik “slept” for over 130 years, feeding on insects. His cell has been opened twice. The first time by Guimart, who broke the wall after finding a small opening. This freed Fenalik and drove him mad. The cell was resealed with planks. And it's likely to be your investigators who open it a second time, should they pass through.

4-Paris is one of the most attractive cities in the world, and your investigators may want to visit it, at the Keeper's discretion. Nevertheless, it's a good idea to suggest the Catacombs, where they can meet The Ghoul That Was Guillaume. The map features a deep-seated area where they can try to communicate with him.

5-Soon enough, your investigators should have enough information to want to go to Lorien's house in Poissy. His house is built on the foundations of Fenalik's former manor.
The book doesn't mention a specific date, but it does give details if you play the scene in winter (extreme cold, footprints in the snow...). So I made an “all-season” version and a “winter” version. In any case, even in summer, the weather will be gloomy and foggy.

6-Your investigators will eventually locate the entrance to Fenalik's cellar right next to the oak tree. You'll need to break a few bricks and dig deep enough to reach the foundations of the Under chez Lorien map. The map is virtually identical to that of Reign of Terror. However, it has been enlarged (140px instead of 70px) for greater comfort, and some textures have been reworked. You'll find Sedefkar's arm entangled in the roots of the rose bush, deep in the cellar.
