Hi everyones,Here's the official announcement of the next mapped campaign:Masks of Nyarlathotep (MoN)Masks of Nyarlathotep is about to begin. The first maps will be presented tomorrow on this Patreon, in the form of Highlights, as usual.---1/ What is Masks of Nyarlathotep?Really?This legendary Call of Cthulhu campaign will take you across several continents as you attempt to uncover what happened to the Carlyle Expedition and put an end to a threat that endangers our civilization.---2/ Why a Remaster?In 2021, I released my first version of the Masks of Nyarlathotep maps. But those were my first maps, and they're getting old, while my mapmaking experience has improved significantly. It's time to give this campaign the maps it truly deserves!

---3/ the differences between the 2025 version and the 2021 version :• An undeniable aesthetic difference• More detailed maps for existing locations• Much better definition (the maps at the time were based on 50px cells). Today, we mainly use 140px or 210px. This means you can zoom in without the image becoming pixelated.• A version that matches the latest from Chaosium. In 2021, I was working on a book from another publisher with many differences, particularly in the maps, and some passages were missing• Side quests fully covered (side quests from the London, Australia, and Shanghai chapters were not covered in 2021)• Maps all prepared on FoundryVTT, for Cthulhu subscribers.---4/ FoundryVTT and more :I also intend to do what I did for the other campaigns, i.e. make creatures and NPC tokens.Handouts will be reviewed and prepared for use on VTT.As for creatures, I'll deliver as many as I can in the Highlights.Maps will prepared for FoundryVTT, and for Cthulhu subscribers.The FoundryVTT version will be delivered at the end of each completed chapter.
