"Wretched is he who looks back upon lone hours in vast and dismal chambers with brown hangings and maddening rows of antique books, or upon awed watches in twilight groves of grotesque, gigantic, and vine-encumbered trees that silently wave twisted branches far aloft. (…) And yet I am strangely content, and cling desperately to those sere memories, when my mind momentarily threatens to reach beyond to the other."-HP.LovecraftHey everyone, I am pleased to present "A Dark Forest" map!

I recently joined your patreon, and these tiles look great, except for one issue. They've all got directional lighting, which means you can't rotate them. Otherwise you've got sunlight coming in from random directions in each tile. Is there a way to fix this? Maybe have the lighting as a separate overlay?

LOVEMAPS Cthulhu

hum interesting remark! ;) That's why I had been doing a lot of them in multiple directions. Now I could do a version without sunlight. I'll test with the "Day" version. you'll let me know if it works for you. It would take me a little time. So probably this weekend...

Thanks! It would be handy to flip and rotate all the tiles in Photoshop to make the layout I want, and then add lighting at the end. Otherwise each tile can only be used in one orientation.

I really like your maps. Would it be possible to have a forest map like this with jungle instead of forest? This would be a great addition to the Lost Ziggurath map :)

LOVEMAPS Cthulhu

Yes. I had planned to prepare this. In the coming weeks because it takes a little time ;)

I'm doing a section in my campaign based in the Dreamlands and these are great for the Enchanted Forest.
