Hi everyone, I am currently working on the "Tatters of the King" campaign.I had already talked about it halfway. But now it's time to reveal the project.

First of all, if you are playing it (as a player). Stop here! The following might spoil you.And don't hesitate to send me a message in MP to let me know.

Otherwise we continue...

/What is this campaign? For those who don't know. This campaign is part of the Call of Cthulhu classics, just like the "Masks of Nyarlathotep".It may not be as well known. It is not as long...But trust me, this campaign is a jewel !

Here the player is in direct link with Hastur and his avatar the "King in Yellow".And perhaps even more than in other campaigns, they are not spectators of the evil that threatens us... but really actors. And so there is a deep melancholy, which affects the players.

The campaign takes place mainly in England in 1928, but makes a stopover in Milan, then ends up in Nepal. And you will have walked in Carcosa...

It deals with madness, classic horror, and cosmic horror. And for sure, your players will remember it...

/Where to find it?DriveThru RPG offers it in digital version (under 13$), or physical version (under 18$)It is also available for sale digitally on the Chaosium website.

/What exactly is Lovemaps working on?• All the essential (and not so essential) maps for this campaign. In a great quality, and a great attention to detail! Much more than I could do before.

• I also worked on the portraits of more than 80 NPCs. All this in order to make beautiful tokens, and summary playing cards, of the main antagonists.

• The monsters of Cthulhu Mythos, also become great detoured tokens.

• The game aids will be revised, to be more credible.

• I will probably add to this, a campaign plan, which allows an easy assimilation of the main events. I'm still thinking about this because it's a very personal approach.

• At least, there will always be a user guide to guide you with the mapsIt's simple, I really want to play it with all this material!

/It sounds good, but when is it released?Hum the big question!Simply : When it will be ready!

All I can say is that most of the important maps are done!So I'm estimating this for December. (I don't guarantee this month, but it gives you time to read the campaign :p)

Before the release, there will be a free beta for all of you anyway. Then it will be in the store on DriveThruRPG.

/So ... Patreon ?Patreon continues at the same rhythm. Just a lot of the next maps that come out on Patreon, will be used for "Tatters of the King". They won't be 100% identical. Let's say they're generic versions.

Ex: "A House of London" is the generic version of a cultist's house in "tatters of the King". This one has its own details, and an extra floor, to fit the description of the book. And you won't see that until the end.

I will also use some maps already drawn for some time (there is a liner in the scenario...)

And if "Tatters of the King" doesn't interest you at all... No problem, the maps I'm going to release are usable for so many other stories !

/Another thing !I'd like this moment to be a kind of interactive "highlight".So I will probably involve you to have your opinion:- On the design of the NPC cards- On the design of the tokens- Probably on the cover of the Packaging

/Acknowledgements• A big thank you to Tokala Nawak, who helps me a lot on this campaign. With his proofreading, his search for references for the maps, his advice and encouragement... He is always present, and it's important for me.

• Also, a part of the monsters is made in partnership with Deep Prompt. Thanks to him for his research and his efficient use of the MidJourney AI.

• The 80 NPC portraits were made with the Midjourney AI.

/The last wordI think I said everything! Thank you all for this support! For those who haven't read it... I can only urge you to read this campaign, intimate and deep. For the others, I guess you're waiting to see what it looks like!In any case, don't hesitate to talk about it around you!

I wish you the best!Damien - Lovemaps

Very exciting! A great campaign paired up with a great artist is a sure fire recipe for success! Can’t wait to try out the beta.

What I had the chance to see of the maps for this campaign was very high level lovemaps. I can't wait to have the final version in hand because I don't think we have another great Cthulhu campaign with such a high quality of maps to play online (apart from Nyarlathotep's masks which was the first great campaign made by Lovemaps and which is really excellent).
