When I rewatched it as an adult, I was siding with Cousin Mel cause Grandma and Granoa both clearly had dementia and Santa did kidnap Grandma for a whole year instead of taking her to a hospital or back to the house 10 feet in front of them. She was absolutely justified in suing Santa.
