Wondrous Item, Very Rare (Requires Attunement by a Cleric)
Vibrant light shimmers from between the strands of this delicate thread held within a shining weaver’s tool. This item can be used as a holy symbol.
Fatebound. As a Bonus Action you can spin a thread from this item binding yourself to another creature you can see within 30 feet of you. An unwilling creature must make a Charisma saving throw against your Spell Save DC to avoid being bonded to you. While a creature is bound to you, you gain the following features:
When either bound creature takes damage, you can choose to reduce the damage by half (rounded up), and the other creature takes the same amount of damage. This damage cannot be prevented by any means.
When either creature makes a Death Saving Throw, if the other bonded creature has more than 0 hit points, you may grant the dying creature advantage on their Death Saving Throw (Yourself Included).
Once on each of the turns of a creature bonded to you, you may grant that creature Advantage or Disadvantage on a d20 test they make.
This bond lasts for 1 hour or until you end it early as a bonus action on your turn. If you end it early, you may have the bonded creature take 6d6 Psychic Damage as its thread of fate is severed. Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest unless you expend a use of your Channel Divinity to do so.
We are all bound together by the strands of fate, each destiny weaving into an intricate tapestry of existence.
