Asheepslife

y’all guys should watch Over the Garden Wall

Caraxes🐐DT

Noo supernatural finally won don’t do this to me 🤣

rue

i definitely recommend the end of the f*cking world if you ever want a shorter series to watch !

Shado

I think it makes more sense to prioritize short but popular series so you can get through more faster

Ash Lee Can

I would love to see Buffy, but heads up, Buffy has a 5 season spinoff series that fans will want you to react to simultaneously with Buffy, starting at season 4 (there's some crossovers and arcs that'll make more sense if you watch both). So it essentially will go from 7 seasons of just Buffy, to 12 seasons of Buffy + Spin Off series. Still much shorter than Supernatural, so there's that lol....

tomlette
>>149540666

Please do not turn them into a CW reaction channel 😭 let them watch some quality peak shit too

Jermbuf14

Shorter or longer, but quit when the views start to drop. Most of these long shows aren't all they are cracked up to be. Love Buffy, but I feel like a best of would be better.

Alycia Ortiz

Man, I was excited for Supernatural or Buffy 🫤

Sam

Shorter for sure

Maria Luiza Santos
>>149541140

I think that would be hard to do, cause they could miss a lot on the show. And if Buffy fans are anything like supernatural fans, you know ppl would be complaining or even hating on the guys if they missed details or beloved scenes/episodes.

Ash Lee Can

Orphan Black is a great "short" series. Tatiana Maslany won an Emmy for Best Lead Actress in a Drama Series. Nominated twice (Viola Davis won the first year, but she veat Viola the second year). 5 seasons, 10 episodes per season (50 eps altogether). Great series to go in completely blind, so I won't say what it's about because the less you know the better, but believe me, the show will hook you almost immediately lol...

Shanemonstr

Yellowjackets! Like less than 20 episodes and a good thriller/horror type show. 🫶🏼

Jack Mingle

Battlestar Galactica ftw

thank u next

Shorter. Your channel will suffer if you become too saturated. The GOT fans do not overlap with Buffy at a 1:1 ratio. You already have a slot for vampires, etc. Variety is key 🚨

Mephisto
>>149541140

That or even if combining 2-3 episodes per watch to sort of power through.

Mephisto

Definitely shorter. I’m a huge Buffy fan but it’s very long and definitely has filler episodes. Supernatural is way too long and frankly overrated. Keep it to shows under 100. 1-7 seasons with roughly 8-13 episodes each. 👌

Heidi Louise

I am relieved that shorter is winning,

Kristin Carter
>>149541166

Same. Everyone's saying they already have a vampire show, but Buffy is one of my favorite shows of all time, and I can't stand TVD 🤷

Aldo Martel

This is great, guys. Limited Series ("Chernobyl, "The Last of Us", "Mare of Eastown", etc) it's like 8-10 hours movie, great cinematography, score, performances. It's a total different experience, and for what I see, it's kinda what u expected from all of this.

Seelia

It really depends on the show and how many you guys are willing to watch at the same time. If you're doing 3 shows at a time, maybe have a long show, then one at average length and then a mini series or shorter one. And when one finish, replace it with a show with same length only. I consider 6 seasons or more with 20+ episodes per season to be a long series. 5 seasons or less with 10-20 eps per season to be average length and 1 or 2 seasons to be mini series or special. I also think you should honor the winner of the last poll, since it's already selected and done. 😊

Illamoon

I think what you said of having slots (destined days) for certain length dramas or for genre is the best way to go, example after VD maybe do Buffy? Or new poll of long length series? I’m suffering on Saturdays because we aren’t getting more reactions to Horror :( I was used to it. I followed you guys for horror movies reactions, I stayed for your great reactions. I’m enjoying Midnight Mass (again horror hahah) and LOTR (who doesn’t love LOTR) now will wait for the American Horror Story reactions and Freddy’s movies.

Dónde está la biblioteca

If you do a longer series, be sure everyone reacting is 100% present and interested. Otherwise it is a chore on both ends. I'm lighting a candle to Zeus on High for shorter series selections.

Vicky Amaro

i have to agree with people saying yall should diversify the reactions, which is better done with shorter series - plus, it can bring more people to the channel and keep them interested. i still vote for the queen’s gambit as shorter series, i think u guys gonna like it

Vicky Amaro
>>149540666

supernatural is just not worth the time it would take to finish bro, its full of fillers and its overrated and it wouldnt bring new watchers in

Stacey K

I hope that you at least honor the last poll, and check, out the first 5 seasons of Supernatural.

Choux D Bruxelles

I would love to see you react to " A Discovery of Witches," starring Matthew Goode and Teresa Palmer. It's a tremendous book-to-screen adaptation (excellent writing, filming, and acting) based on Deborah Harkness's best-selling All Souls Trilogy. Escape into a tale of forbidden love and ancient magic, set in a world where witches, vampires, and daemons live among us, hiding in plain sight. It has three short seasons: S1-8, S2-10, and S3-7 episodes.

Sara Lindley

I would love for you guys to do Blue Eye Samurai

Laney Tapia

I think a shorter series would be better in this format (as much as I love buffy and older iconic shows like that that are super long). That way if a lot of ppl don’t enjoy whatever show is being watched you guys will move on from it quicker if it’s 1-3 seasons with only 10-12 episodes per season. For example something like yellowjackets or bridgerton would be more preferable imo

Vicky Amaro
>>149548273

that’s easily 100+ episodes, thats too long to be committed to something you dont even plan to finish and that a lot of your audience has voted against

Coojw

in light of this poll, you should re do the what to watch vote with shows that arent too long

Adri

Its not the length its the quality

Sam
>>149541433

Yess Orphan Black is amazing! Great suggestion 😊

Venus

start with shorter series and move on to longer. even better, react to 1-2 short series and then 1 long series. I would also reccomend if you're going to watch something very long that you switch to 2 episodes per upload. Thats lowkey what you should do with TVD cuz we have a bunch more seasons left

Laur

Have you guys thought about only uploading shorter shows to YouTube so those audiences always get a fresh show and then making longer shows Patreon exclusive? That may satisfy people who always want new content but also reward loyal fanbases to stay on Patreon. I know there are quite a few other reactors that do that.

Danielle (Thompson) Sansone-Poe

Again...Firefly plus the movie, Serenity (And comic books). It didn't even get a full season and is still a legendary, influential ensemble show, with a devoted fanbase. LOTS OF LORE.

Will3000

IF you get into season 2 of Buffy, you'll understand the hype! 🤗 I'm so jealous that you may be reacting to it for the first time🤣

Ameth

Chernobyl is so short we'd get through it so fast ^_^

chanel

if you guys are taking suggestions for short shows i think you’d like gravity falls

chanel

also bridgerton is so different than what you watch that it’d be fun !!

Karina

DARK!! I wanna know their thoughts on it so bad

Karina
>>149555001

But the short shows have quality too. They just don't take as long to get good

FedeM

Shorteeer! There's so many good shows out there and ahs and tvd are already pretty long. If you aďd supernatural and buffy to the mix you won't get new audience for who knows how long

Vikesh Ramnauth

For as much as I would love to see one of the longer ones, choosing a shorter series will be better. You can do one of the longer ones to replace TVD after

Patpet

It depens what it is, the quality is more important than the lenght, if is something great, it doesn' t matter if it's long. as long as it's fun and entretaining for the us and for you.

Illamoon
>>149547302

I was just giving an example :) like after a long series do another long series. That’s why I mentioned Buffy.

Freddie Miles
>>149540666

THANK YOU. I previously subscribed to watch a particular series, then unsubscribed because of the CW content. Then I resubscribed to watch LOTR (of course), but I'm probably going to unsubscribe again after Midnight Mass. I think it's great that dedicated fans of TVD/Supernatural/Buffy have a reaction channel that caters to them, but there are many people who do not like those shows (I watched some of TVD when it was on originally, but I have no desire to rewatch it and I definitely don't want to watch someone react to it), so more diverse content would be nice.

Sam
>>149567332

Corey said they are already planning on watching Dark for sure 👍🏻

Michael Soukup

The Scream series is two season 8 eps each (I think). There is a season 3 but if is entirely different — for completists only. Also Recommend Reacher and Westworld…..

Katie Niekamp

I wish I saw "For All Mankind" mentioned more- it's such a good show. It has 40 episodes.

Aub

Please shorter season! Preferably something a little different for y’all like Bridgerton 🫶

Nora

I think you may like Firefly! only one little season and a movie :)

Adri
>>149555001

I wasn't choosing one over the other. Merely stating my view.

Stacey K
>>149548273

Cece, I guess I still don’t understand how that’s different from any other poll? I understand changing how polls are done going forward, but it doesn’t seem fair to throw out a poll that’s already started.

Stacey K
>>149548273

I’m also curious why the comments and discord are more valid than the poll results? Aren’t they also open?

cece
>>149548273

since their poll is in favor of understanding what their specific audience wants, it’s not entirely too reliable especially when it’s opened to everyone. all polls aren’t the same and that’s the difference. even with announcement videos, corey explained one time that they’d prefer if they recommended a bit of a shorter series instead of a long one, but that was obviously ignored, or people didn’t watch the entire video. ironically, the two leading shows in the polls were iffy for a lot of people as ‘buffy the vampire slayer’ is a vampire/supernatural show, and they’re already watching a show like that on the channel. a lot of people weren’t or aren’t in favor of them watching it simultaneously for good reasons as well. and with supernatural, again, similar with the supernatural aspects but also, it is quite a loooooong series. stacey, the comments from their discord and the poll comments are assumably people from their audience, and the raggedy pack listens to their audiences likes and criticisms as well. i also mentioned discord and the poll comments because many people had criticisms about it. i can understand many people’s disappointment and frustration, but in favor for everyone, prioritizing shorter series for a bit would seem a bit fair as the other series are pretty long and there most likely wouldn’t be another poll for quite a while. im sure supernatural and buffy aren’t entirely off the list, and that they would circle back to them when possible.

Stacey K
>>149548273

I think it would be more fair to at least give the poll winner a shot. I looked at the last poll, and more people voted “against” AHS (4114) in that poll than voted “against” SPN (3707). I don’t see how this poll is any less representative of the audience than any other poll. They also already had a horror series with the Flanagan shows, so why is the genre an issue now? I also disagree with the assumption that the comments and the discord are from the audience, but not the actual poll results. Both are open to the public. I know SPN is longer, but just like any other poll, that’s just the way the cookie crumbles. If it was an issue, it should have been addressed before the poll, instead of in the middle.

cece
>>149548273

against? i don’t what mathematical equation you’re doing but they relatively have more engagement than the last poll. i know you used quotations for the word ‘against’ but people have the choice to vote for more than one show in the polls. and people voting for a show thats not american horror story, doesn’t mean they’re voting “against” that. giving the poll another shot would seemingly be the exact same result, and the raggedy pack, specifically corey, listened to what people had to say about variety and short-length shows, and people picked those. i don’t know if you skimmed over my previous messages, but i explained a few reasons as to why it would be a bit unbalanced, not necessarily “less representative” but more so engaged and understanding of their upload schedule as ive said previously. the comments in the previous poll are very mild compared to the most recent one which had many reasonable objections and why it was noticed. the genre itself is not an issue as every one of the boys have been enjoying the horror/supernatural series. the problem was the lack of variety and specifically for supernatural, how long of a series it is. they are also still currently watching the flanagan series, and it being october, there will be more of that horror aspect more than ever. also, when i said assumably, i was saying that it is likely. the poll comments and discord members are from their audience… that’s a fact; you can’t really disagree with that. the poll is opened for everyone including people who aren’t as engaged with their content and are not familiar with their tight schedule, etc. this is their channel and while they also listen to their audience, they also are allowed to change up the way they do things. it was also an issue before as people noticed that supernatural was on the poll, and some had even predicted it would win in the discord. the complaints were mostly about buffy and supernatural, and it was still an issue as most of the comments under the poll are understandable criticisms. now, it’s not at all up to me on what they watch, but all they’re doing is listening to their audience, and this is clearly a matter in question.

Stacey K
>>149548273

Hmm, yeah, I just don’t think we’re going to agree on this. I understand considering length and genre when you’re putting together the poll, or when you’re voting. And there’s a lot of different ways they can go going forward. I just don’t think it’s fair to scrap a poll well in to voting, unless there’s something fundamentally flawed with the poll itself. Which so far, nobody can show there is.

cece
>>149548273

im sorry but what is “this” exactly? im telling you exactly what’s happening, so a bit confused on that part lol. and ironically you talking about what’s not fair is exactly why there are changes being met. particular “flaws” have been mentioned. nothing im explaining seems good enough for you so i don’t know what more to tell you. the poll/decisions aren’t being changed for no reason, just so you know.

Ash Lee Can
>>149541140

Nah, Buffyverse still has a pretty stronge fanbase/fandom to this day. They are very quick to jump onto new Buffy reactors to follow their journey and are usually very engaing in the cimments as well. Hell, their fans seem a lot stronger than a lot of these more recent, compact shows after their first season, or a few years after it ends imo.

Stacey K
>>149548273

It seems pretty clear we disagree if the poll should be honored and if the channel should react to SPN. I understand the concerns with SPN, as I’ve said repeatedly. I think a lot of things could have, maybe even should have, been done differently. But it was included on the poll anyway and it is winning. I think it's most fair to try the poll winner, and implement any necessary changes to the poll going forward. If the audience truly doesn’t want it, there will be hard data to show it and everyone can move on. On the other hand, if it is a vocal minority disagreeing with the poll results the analytics will reflect that as well.

cece
>>149548273

but its not just the means of the poll being honored. ive explained to you the reasons and there’s clearly reasons on why theres a change, you’re just choosing to disregard them. you can be upset, but i dont know what exactly you can disagree on other than that. and things are being done differently. it’s not even necessarily about the audience “not truly wanting it”. again, ive already explained in my previous messages, just scroll up. and what is “hard data”? this is not as big of a mess up as you’re making it out to be. supernatural is not entirely gone and they’ll probably will be reacting to it pretty soon, who knows. if they don’t plan on supernatural (which seems likely since short series seems to be in favor but you never know), there are plenty of other channels reacting to supernatural that you’ll probably enjoy, while you wait for the raggedy pack to watch it.

Stacey K
>>149548273

I am not disregarding anything. I have repeatedly acknowledged everything you are saying. I understand it could mean multiple shows that are very similar in the channel for a very long time. Apparently, they were well aware of these concerns and continued to include both SPN and BTVS in polls. If it’s included in the poll, then there’s a chance it can win. We all saw SPN climb poll after poll. I don’t think it’s fair to pivot like that mid poll. If you came to my comment expecting me to agree with you that the poll should be ignored, that’s not going to happen.

cece
>>149548273

you kinda are as you’ve mentioned you don’t think we’re going to agree on this and i have also regarded and refuted everything you said, but you’re just ultimately boiling it down to a “disagreement”. and as you’ve said, “repeatedly” saying the same thing in circles practically. that’s why i said you can definitely be upset, but this is ultimately their channel and their decision. i also don’t think ive said or implied they knew of these concerns? i said there were complaints in the discord because you had said “if it was an issue, it should have been addressed before the poll” which i had responded saying that it was also an issue before the polls. being that corey seemingly is mostly in the patreon, as well as editing and uploading, it’s likely he didn’t see it, but he has obviously seen it in the patreon comments evidently. you say you don’t think it’s fair, but on the flip side, it’s not fair either for individuals who’ve been wanting other shorter series to win, which is why the new poll was created. i also never said anything about the poll being ignored? i initially was responding to someone else under your comment, not you, but then it seemed like you replied to the comment that i was replying to someone else about, no?

Stacey K
>>149548273

As best I can follow now, you quoted my reply to Vicky 2 days ago, starting this exchange. I received a notification of a reply to my comment, which I do not receive when there is a reply to someone else. I also see before that you replied to Ida separately. I understand what you’re saying, that the concerns might not have had the channel’s attention until after Supernatural was winning the poll. That’s fair. And I know that there are different sides to what is fair. You’re never going to please everybody. I feel like we’ve both said everything we have to say multiple times. You’re right, it’s not my decision to make and none of this is earth shattering. I guess we just have to wait and see what the final decision is.

cece
>>149548273

wait, huh? after i evidently replied to ida, you made four comments after that; one or more of those comments, you were replying to me, no? i didn’t “come to your comment” expecting anything nor did i even address you first, you did. that notification you received must have been someone else, not me. and yes, point is, you can’t please everyone, which is why i keep saying it’s understandable that you’re upset. i was simply just explaining things to you about the polls as well as a deeper explanation on how it’s not just “some” people, rather more than that. as the conversation went on, you were misunderstanding what i was saying, still confused and asked questions, and putting in your own input on what would be fair, and what’s fair and what’s not fair. but yes, again, the decision is ultimately up to them, and they do the best they can to please their audience. 👍

Stacey K
>>149548273

I think part of the confusion is that comments are showing just chronologically, so when multiple conversations are happening, they look all jumbled together. But your reply 2 days ago that starts with “it’s not just some people” was a reply to me, and is not addressed to anyone else, and directly references my reply to Vicky. I think that is what started the conversation. Can’t wait to see what they decide.

cece
>>149548273

from your own comments, you first addressed/replied to me, then vicky, then seemingly ida. when you replied to me which is when you addressed me first, you also addressed what you said about the polls as you had asked me a question on the topic of polls. either way, you addressed me with a comment first and i wasn’t expecting anything from you other than your understanding of my pretty simple explanations after again, you asked me a question… coming to my comment addressing me before i ever addressed/replied to you. your comment to me, and i quote, “but isn’t that true of all the polls?”, was what started the conversation.

Stacey K
>>149548273

What I said earlier is that I think the comment replies are in chronological order across all replies, and not organized by conversation. There were multiple conversations going on at the same time. At this point, I can’t tell if my reply about all polls was to you or not. I think that’s why I started using people’s names in my reply. Either way, I don’t see how your reply it’s more than some people is a reply to my comment about all polls. I consider that comment the start of the conversation. At least, I don’t see a clear back and forth before that.

cece
>>149548273

im specifically addressing you thinking i started the conversation/i addressed you first when that was actually you. there really weren’t multiple conversations going on at the same time. only two people replied to you, and then you replied to them. your reply asking about polls was to me; it coincides with my comment and cancels all your other ones out. and you obviously didn’t disregard me asking about you addressing me first in the last two comments of mine. if you also read my previous comment, i stated that since you had asked me about polls, i was also addressing you and your other comment that you made about the polls, since they correlate. the start of the conversation was you addressing me first by asking a question. how can there be a back and forth before that if the conversation hadn’t started yet? i was replying to ida. you decided to reply that comment and that was what started the conversation, just so you know. you seem to be a little confused and unsure of things, so im explaining it to you lol. and if you’re still unsure, you can simply scroll up. :)

Stacey K
>>149548273

I have been scrolling up to review the replies. I am crystal clear on the sequence of events, thank you very much 👍🏻

cece
>>149548273

yep you responded and addressed me first and then vicky, so essentially you (your comment) started the conversation. that clears it up :) glad we could agree on that

Pat

You guys should think about watching The Magicians. It's a gem that most reactors haven't reacted to.
