Finally. I’ve only been waiting for that hook-up since Season 1. Sire bond or no sire bond, I believed this was going to happen since about Episode 7 of that first season. There were just too many sparks between the characters and the actors.

Caroline was very irritating this episode. She doesn’t have to like damon, but she needs to respect Elena’s decision. She can’t control Elena’s decisions or who she’s falling in love with. She loves Damon, and Caroline needs to stop undermining Elena’s choice. Elena is allowed to love damon and she needs to realize that.

Damon’s look of suprise when Elena says the breakup is because of him. He has always been second choice and never been chosen. This is the first time someone actually returned Damon’s feelings. It honestly made me cry because he was looking for love for so long and he finally has the girl. I hate that they brought in the sire bond storyline just to have another obstacle for delena again. 😭

“You wanna know what I think? I haven’t seen you more alive.” Damon is the only one that accepts for the way she is now. Caroline and Stefan keep saying she’s changed like it is a bad thing. Change is natural. She’s not human, she’s a vampire now. Damon’s love for Elena is unconditional and it’s what I love about them.

“You mean me? The only way to fix me? This is who I am now.” I just love Elena standing up for herself. She has changed and is a vampire and Stefan still hasn’t accepted that yet. That’s why he’s so hellbent on the cure.

First of all, she’s allowed to change her damn mind. She just said she didn’t want the cure if it meant stripping her brother of his humanity. And she’s changed, and has gotten mature which can happen. Caroline changed completely when she became a vampire, and is Elena not allowed to? That is pure bs. People are allowed to change and grow. It’s a natural part of life.

Nope, it’s not just being a ripper. Literally in this episode he wants to get the cure she he can “fix” Elena which is messed up. He wants the cure her so she can love him again which is pretty toxic imo. Stefan has many toxic moments besides being the ripper and you know it.
