I’m not a fan of Klaroline but even if I was, there’s a certain ickiness that Caroline would literally flirt with a man who killed her boyfriend’s mom and all he had to do was sweet talk her a few times. She was complaining to Elena about Damon, rightfully so, but it loses all its weight because Rose described Elijah as the Easter Bunny compared to Klaus. If Elijah is the Easter Bunny, Damon is literally a germ compared to Klaus 😅

Damon is literally a rapist who abused her at 17yo. Klaus is a killer, yes but he never pretended to be a good guy. They all were willing to kill people to protect those they love, they killed the Martins for Elena, they killed Finn and a bunch of vampires with him. A bunch of witches. No one is innocent here and everyone plays games. But there’s one rapist, one who forces himself on young girls with either compulsion, or forcing his blood on Elena, and getting mad when he is told no. Vampires are monsters, killers. But sexual violence is Damon’s thing and he does it to Caroline, she can hate him all she wants.

The show portrays Klaus as the villain though, just like Katherine. The show however tries to paint Damon as a “bad boy with a heart of gold” 😂
