Great episode - this episode made me want Elena and Stefan to get back together, I know it was Katherine but my Stelena heart was happy. I know it's a long shot, but I do want Caroline and Tyler to work it out, Carolines jealousy/judgy vibes about Stefan is getting annoying to me, however I'm glad they finally figured it out at the end.

Katherine truly doesn’t love Stefan at all. If Stefan was the one to kill his brother, he would never be able to recover. She does not care about the pain and guilt Stefan will have if he were to do that to his only family.

I feel so bad for Nadia, because she was involved in Katherine’s life she got herself bit by a fate werwolf bite. She spent all these years trying to find her, only to have a terrible mother that never made her a priority.

The Katherine make out scene with Stefan in the hotel is difficult to watch, especially knowing that she’s using Elena’s body without her consent. I skip this scene every time, it’s just unbearable.

But Bonnie was at the Salvatore house when she was supposed to die, she even saw her, and said her name, then Katherine never crossed. I never understood why she didn't question it.

it would’ve been unknown when katherine passed anyways since she was still alive when stefan gave her the last syringe. all they knew was that she was still fighting. it was already dark, they all could’ve left the house by then. bonnie already has too many supernaturals passing through her and i would imagine the pain being too much for her to even think about that. i feel like that’s a pretty plausible defense.

I suppose that is plausible, but I still think it is weak writing and a continuity issue. Just like how Blake says they have selective vampiric hearing. He is right, they do.

ehh, the selective hearing bit isn’t necessarily true. it’s been said multiple of times that vampires have to focus on the voice to actually understand/hear what they’re saying. the voice(s) aren’t just 100% on loud volume, you actually have to focus and use your ears; we see that many times with caroline doing so. the “selective hearing” bit is even said in the most silly of instances like in 4x15 when stefan turned on the faucet so he & caroline could talk without elena listening. it was clear elena was already downstairs and close enough to the both of them to hear what they were saying, seeing as both of them didn’t even notice her come downstairs lol. i can talk about many more instances as well. but back to the katherine thing, the supernatural people passing through her i feel like is the best excuse bc she has so many going through her a day while she’s in crippling pain; i think you’re really underestimating this one haha. katherines body would also be seemingly dead which i would feel bonnie or anyone wouldn’t really question anything about since it is HER body. or better yet, she did pass through since she (her body) did die, but evidently swiveled into elenas body. after all, traveler magic was used. there’s always a loophole; and just bc it wasn’t explained painstakingly, doesn’t make it plot-breaking. the presence of two branches of magic atone for that even. regardless, weak writing would be katherine seemingly not getting away with this for like 2-3 eps? i feel like it was also set up perfectly given the highly unique circumstances.
