one of you mentioned 4 months of the time passing but i don’t think that’s accurate. i don’t think we really know how much time has passed. the 4 months was in reference to alaric being dead im pretty sure lol

by yalls reactions (esp iglis lol), i really can’t tell if yall are confusing the narrative around liv, and especially luke😭 did yall misinterpret last ep or smth?? you guys are going waaay too hard on him. i think it’s pretty clear of lukes intentions with how bad he feels for stopping the spell a little early, which btw was at the expense of his sisters life, AND we can’t forget bonnie who was also actively dying every time someone passed through her. on another note, im SOOO excited for next ep! both for tvd & the originals lolol

I was definitely not a fan of how mad Caroline got over Elena’s grieving process. She has to understand that there’s no right or wrong way to handle losing someone and I’m glad Liz talked to her about that.

It’s so heartbreaking when Elena tries so hard to let him go but she couldn’t deal with it and breaks down. Nina does such an amazing portrayal of expressing elena’s grief and the stages you go through when someone you love is gone.

People understand that he was trying to protect his sister. People get frustrated with Luke because he could’ve channeled her and helped her rather than just stopping the whole thing. And Bonnie doesn’t really matter because she was the anchor and she was found to go down with the other side no matter how many people went through her.

that’s headcanon. we don’t know if he could’ve channeled her as the spell had already started. plus, i feel like there’s a lot of expectation in that situation for some reason when he had just risen from the dead 2 seconds ago before finding his sister. i mentioned bonnie bc of how much the guys like bonnie and was reminding them that her and liv were the ones getting hurt in the process of all of this.

I don’t think so. I was just as hard on Luke first time around. In their eyes there is no reason to like him. I mean, what has he done? Tried to kill the doppelgängers to stop the travelers and then interfere with the spell causing Damon to be stuck on the other side.

in the characters eyes or the reactors? i understand why the characters wouldn’t like him (even though they seem to be on alright terms) but im more so confused on some of their reactions. like igli saying he’s the worst character, things like that, when there’s many things other characters have done that was worse than this, which makes me wonder if they interpreted the situation wrong (or are just rightfully salty at bonnie & damon being gone lol), like for example; maybe thinking that luke ended liv doing the spell on purpose to get at bonnie & them, or as if there was some ulterior motive, and it’s like no… he was just worried for his sisters life and had no way of knowing if all of them had gotten through back to the living lol

I mean we kinda do know. It’s known knowledge in this universe that 2 witches is more powerful than one. All he had to do was channel liv for a couple of minutes for Damon to pass through. Stopping it was unnecessary. I mean we all know the writers did this for the plot but that doesn’t mean people can’t be annoyed with it haha

I’m meaning the reactors. I understand Luke’s reasoning, I am sure they do to. Of course he is going to save his sister. She is his number one priority. But I get their reason to hate him at this moment, I mean, who are he and Liv to the main characters other than people who interfered and tried to kill the Stefan and Elena.

well.. yes. 2 witches is more powerful than one but i stated that liv had already started the spell. it was deteriorating her life force; a huge spell that is resurrecting people back from the dead (also killing bonnie). luke had just gotten back to the land of the living and was worried about his sisters life as well. you say all he had to do was channel her but that’s just headcanon. there’s no way of knowing if he would’ve been able to do that or not. you’re just basing it off the fact that two witches is better than one, which is true, but again liv had already started the spell. it was a vulnerable one too bc remember, they only had one shot at this and it took a lot of bodies. we can converse on the many assumptions.. like whose to say the spell wouldn’t have broken/stopped if luke had intervened? we saw that he was also there for her for moral support with her life at stake. i think if he could’ve, he would’ve helped in her expense. even when he didn’t want to let her go on for longer, she dismissed him and let her continue on until he saw her life was at risk. to you (and probably a lot of the audience), stopping the spell was unnecessary, but it wasn’t for luke whose sisters life was on the line. and ofc i think people can have certain feelings with plots, but i was just trying to get an understanding on what exactly they’re upset about lolol

oh yeah for sure lol, that’s totally understandable. i think i just got super confused on how harsh they were being to him bc i can easily put myself in his shoes and understand where he was coming from.

Feel like you all judge Stefan way harder than Damon.. if Elena and Katherine didn't have dreams about Stefan, Damon would have never known. While he was gone, his brother was stealing his girlfriend.. Stefan is by far the better brother.
