Belinda left Pornchai behind just like Tanya left Belinda behind. I think the reason Lochland didn't rinse out the blender was because he WANTED the pina colada mixed in with the shake. Great episode. I wonder if any of the previous characters will show up in season 4. Maybe Gary/Greg will show up with a new name, like Gerard.

Piper’s choice reminded me a lot of Rachel’s in season 1 about choosing comfortability over struggle. Piper was raised to be a Southern princess and a lot more like her family than she realizes. Also Southeast Asia in particular is full of privileged Americans going there for enlightenment or a spiritual awakening. When Lochlan expressed that he wanted to join Piper, it put her off because she realized she wasn’t that special and different after all. It’s interesting how Saxon seems to be the one who grew the most from this experience and is probably the most prepared to face his family’s new reality when they get back to the States. I like how Laurie, Kate, and Jaclyn ended because they’re all 45… it takes a lot of work making friendships as an adult and as you get older you lose more friends than you make. They’re each other’s longest relationship at this point. Next up is France! I wonder where in France it’ll be but I could see it being the Cannes area. I kind of hope it’s a bit more meta and we have actual Hollywood exec types.

I don't see definitive proof that Saxon grew that much from his experiences. He only started self reflecting after he got jacked off by Lochlan. And the only lesson he learned from that is don't do drugs. If he hadn't taken drugs, he would've stopped Lochlan. Even after Saxon read Chelsea's book, he didn't say what he learned from the book. It looked to me like he was still hoping to hook up with Chelsea even though she's told him multiple times that she's deeply in love with someone else. Do you think Tim or Lochlan told the rest of the family about Lochlan's near death experience?

The actor who plays Lochlan said in an interview that he thinks Lochlan thought Saxon had just made a protein shake that morning so he didn't think he needed to wash it out lol

That's definitely possible too. Can you direct me to that interview. There an interesting video on YT you might want to check out where Sam Nivola and Cooper Koch interview each other.
