I am so excited for this!! 🤗 The medical jargon is a bit overwhelming at first if you don't work in the medical field haha. I'm a nursing student and work in the hospital, but my fiancé does not and he was pretty overwhelmed at first but he ended up really loving the show! It gets a little easier to follow along as it keeps going! I will be sat for every episode ❤️ I think you guys will really enjoy it!

I'm not big on medical shows (we should watch one of those detective shows at some point) but my sister is a nurse practitioner and my mother is a physician and they're obsessed with this show. They say it's fairly accurate (medically) compared to some other shows.

I’ve never seen or heard anything about this show before so I’m looking forward to watching this with you guys. I’m curious to see if there will be a storyline regarding organ donation. I can’t remember if/when/where I’ve ever mentioned it, but I had a lifesaving transplant so it would be really interesting to see if they cover that subject.

Wow. I have nothing but the upmost respect for your mom and sister🙏🏻🙌🏻.

The medical terminology can be a bit overwhelming — but, we tend to talk a bit quicker than our hands can keep up … or vice versa. It’s a constant motion — you guys did good for your first ep !! Unfortunately Blake — the “anxiety” never really fully goes away 😭 It just eventually get’s to the point where, you’re physically incapable of feeling anxious because there’s so much to do lmao. And, as far as that “Hyperkalemia” due to muscle breakdown/rhabdomyolysis scenario with the sports athlete — it is not very common (but never impossible) for this exact cause. In this case, he would have had to exercise an insaneee amount with his kidneys being on their last leg/completely shut down. Without any related genetic factors/history of illness, we would’ve had to really work up to this point.

Yesss I agree !! One of the most accurate

I don't know if I'm gonna watch this show. But you got me interested when you mentioned the episodes are titled by hours of the day. The tv show 24 (starring Kiefer Sutherland) did that too, and almost every episode had me on the edge of my seat.

At first, I was like, hmm, what's this show? Then I saw Noah Wyle, and I was like...ER flashbacks! He really does play a doctor magnificently. I mean, ER was a fantastic drama, but now to see him in the main, mentoring lead role... full-circle nostalgia.
