FYI: When Natasha says "Shall we play a game", it's not a reference to Saw, but to the movie "War Games" with Matthew Broderick from 1983. Also, the Winter Soldier Theme is Bucky's scream when he fell off the train. Seeing Blake so excited through the whole movie was a joy to watch.😄 And I fully understand it. The Winter Soldier is still my favourite mcu movie.

I remember tearing up in the theaters at the "With you till the end of the line" scene at the end. Forgot how good this movie was. Can't wait for the next reaction!

Thanks. I just opened up the comments to say this lol. When he asked if Igli heard it, I was like, "Oh wow they've seen War Games?" then he said Saw. 😂

Agents of SHIELD was made when Marvel TV and Marvel films were run separately. Kevin Fiege did not like the show and was rumored to have tried to get it not made. Ike perlmutter ran the TV side and loved the pitch from Joss Whedon for AOS. Whedon's brother was the showrunner for at least the first two seasons. The reason you don't see anymore crossover of AOS stuff into the films after S2 is because that's when Whedon stopped being involved in the MCU. Age of Ultron only had direct crossover with AOS because Whedon did that movie. From what I understand, Fiege wasn't fond of AOS connecting to Winter Soldier and continuing to build off of the fallout of WS. I did hear Feige kind of liked Agent Carter. That show was better than AOS, IMHO, and I'm pissed it never got a season three. ETA: I waited to see if any of you caught the Pulp Fiction reference on Fury's tombstone. "the path of the righteous man..." - Ezekiel 25:17. It's the start of a Biblical quote Sam Jackson's character, Jules, said a lot in that movie. It was so popular, it became attached to Jackson himself. Funny, tho: "The path of the righteous man..." isn't a part of the 25:17 passage, it's part of another Tarantino mashed up with it to make the famous "speech".

Wait, you guys are skipping Doctor Strange? I feel like Jake would need to see that one for the overall plot.
