Yay Evan Peters and Finn Wittrock are here! Edit: yes, James Patrick March is based on HH Holmes, who may have been the first ever known serial killer in America. He built a hotel for the Chicago's World Fair, and used it to k*ll people like March did.

Gaga had some input with the music, she actually chose the song for her first scene in ep 1 But I agree!! They should have put a ton of gaga songs in the show 🥲 I still love the soundtrack though 💃🏼

I used to be fascinated with hh holmes. I started writing a tv show about his teen years & college years & med school & how he developed into a serial killer, some years back. The pilot was about his first kill, which I totally invented bc very very little is known of his ear!y life. , when you really deep dive into him, he gets a lot of his lore And imaginations come to life based off one book in particular, that a lot of ppl took more factually than they should. That book has since been debunked and turns out ol' hh Holmes was in actuality, most like!y, a good con man who made up most of what he'd done. Was likely mentally ill and a pathological liar. He was only ever charged, convicted and executed for 1 murder. There is zero evidence for anything else, other than his word and a really imaginative "true crime" writer who took great liberties in making up a great story and filling in missing details himself..had the book never been written, I'd never have been inspired to write that tv show, so in the end, its all relatjve, I suppose..

James Patrick march is my favorite character that Evan Peters has played. Loved seeing Dandy again and loved that we got more backstory on Lady Gaga’s character .

This is all more or less what I have read as well, however I thought the number of confirmed kills was a bit higher.. like maybe 5-7? EIther way, not countless victims and I think he was more into fraud, than murder.
