The Guardien of Lost Souls

Mula is one of the oldest residents of Ushlo village . She is deeply attached to this place.

Despite her somewhat naive and shy demeanor, she knows a lot about her world and, especially, about the immediate surroundings of the village. She used to often wander outside of Ushlo. However, for some time now, the paths leading out of the village area have been blocked: by landslides in the mountains, a curse to the west, or a dangerous forest to the north inhabited by fierce creatures.

She thus remains here, caring for everyone a little bit, as a loving and attentive mother would.

The Great Heart and Motherhood

Despite her seemingly fragile and maternal appearance, she is the one who carried out the majority of the modifications and improvements in the inn. Her goal was specifically to welcome creatures who might sometimes get lost and end up in the village. She did this primarily to welcome lost souls. Mula truly has an immense heart, and that is quickly understood.

She is also one of the only people to whom Yole, the mysterious person who fled the village recently, confided. Yole only trusted Mula and, apparently, knew a lot about the world of humans. Yole entrusted the books that spoke of the world of men to Mula so that she could educate herself, as if Yole already knew it would serve her one day.

Mula’s Fear

One of Mula's greatest fears is that the village will eventually run out of inhabitants one day. She particularly cherishes Ushlo; she has been there since she was very small, and even if there isn't much to the place, being with the people she loves is largely enough for her to enjoy every day.
