One thing I've noted that other authors do that I haven't done so far is offer poll options to decide on various things in their stories. For a while I've been somewhat uncertain about doing polls of my own but I think I want to at least try them for a bit, just to give a bit of agency to you wonderful people who support me. Please let me know your feelings one way or another in the comments or discord.Given that HP was selected as the next story update I won't be introducing a poll for that yet as waiting for the poll to resolve would slow down the next chapter update (which is currently being written). The same stakes are not true for the Avatar story and given it's recent posting my original one. So for your pleasure here are two separate polls, in two separate posts because patreon won't give me another option.

We've introduced the majority of the cast members who will be in Zuko's orbit. Now the question for Chapter 18 is who do you want to start making move's forward in their romance development?

This might be a stupid question and i just missed it. But has Azula actually learned that Zuko can waterbend? I simply dont remember him telling or showing her.

Not yet, that does need to happen and would be in her chapter

I dislike toph appearing twice as options here, I really think she should be a good bit later in the story. My first choice would have been azula and yue, since the were paired with toph I voted for ty lee and mai whom I do really enjoy in this story. As a note I'm not that big of a fan of reader polls for stories. Internet democracy often goes off the rails, there is a reason many quest stories turn unreadable if you werent one of the people involved in it from the beginning

That's fair. I'll take it into consideration for future polls. To be clear I will only poll options I think make logical sense for the current story. Yue and Azula have had some time together some chapters ago and I was thinking it would be an option next chapter. If it feels right it could still be included in this next one. This is just a guaranteed scene I have a plan for and that I don't have a preference on when I show it.
