Ok so here is the current plan:

In either late September or October I plan to use your STONE IN FOCUS as a fitting tease for more of the Bros Mario- on top of being just a really funny bit as a dissociative/ arthouse bit.

After that, I believe the best plan for spacing it out is to do:

A mixtape of just the Bros jamming in the record shop with songs that are appropriate to these versions of them. The current playlist is a ton of classic 60-70s music:

MARIO 64 SOUNDFONT

Strawberry Letter 23 (Brothers Johnson)

What you Won't Do For Love (Bobby Caldwell)

New York State of Mind (Billy Joel)

Dancing in the Moonlight (King Harvest)

The Letter (Joe Cocker)

Peg (Steely Dan)

I'd Wait A Million Years (Grassroots)

Just the Two of Us (Bill Withers)

Sunny (Boney M)

The Stranger (Billy Joel)

New Yorks Not My Home (Jim Croce)

Baker Street (Gerry Raferty)

That'll be a super holdover for The Bros Mario 3 - where I'll introduce a lot more characters in the record shop, creating a sense of community through imagining them in this world. More sound clipped puns etc.

[3:07 PM]

Then after that I Want to do a 2nd Mixtape volume - bigger and badder, opening up the floor to all these different characters jamming in their respective soundfonts. The working list so far:

WARIOLAND 4

Thriller - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1PSIZCyoE4

Walk the Night (skatt bros)

Get Ready (Rare Earth)

F-ZERO

Turbo Lover (Judas Priest)

PainKiller (Judas Priest)

Bat Out of Hell (Meatloaf)

SONIC

Don't Stop Me Now (Queen)

Genesis - Land of Confusion - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vA1FTE_Zhyo

STARFOX

Jet (Paul McCartney Wings)

DK

Gorillaz - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rVBVH66ZulE

Rapp Snitches - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4raml2oJHzk

Easy Lover (Phil Collins)

METROID

Venus - Home Mashup - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zf9iahytm7g

Shout (Tears for Fears)

ZELDA

Where is My Mind -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yBC_Mg7lVoQ&list=PLJGCvuuxadP-mnOXQOAAzRK18XquSEqYk

Electioneering - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X1I0_bsjEsY

Nirvana - Heart Shaped Box or Breed

I'm down to also put less Mario bros songs in the first mixtape to put a few in the 2nd if it makes more sense/ to gauge how big the workload is.

I also plan to reach out to the folks who have already made those awesome soundfont covers and ask them permission to use them in the mixtape. If they never get back to me then I'll re-evaluate taking my chances on just using it and linking them in the credits of course

So yeah thats the jist of it as of now. In the meantime I'll be juggling other projects as I always am- while chipping away at these

THANK YOU!
