Kanao solely relies on the coin to make decisions without altering the toss. When Tanjiro flipped it, it was just a gust of wind. She wouldn't need the coin if she wanted to alter it to make a decision lol :D

I do find myself wondering if it was "just" a gust of wind. How do we know it wasn't the wind hashira making sure the coin came up heads for Kanao's sake? Not that I have any evidence at all for that, but it's my fun head canon :]

Not sure if they're reading, but I think watching ep 1 before the movie or after the movie is equally valid. I think everyone who is insisting one order is "better" than the other is bias toward how they watched it. I personally prefer Film first and then Ep 1 and then skip to 2nd half of the season, but I think it should be fine either way. Reminds me of certain hotly debated watch orders in AOT

I just really hope you guys werent spoiled on Akaza showing up man cause when i saw the movie i had no idea and I was kinda like this was a bit underwhelming but holy shit did it surprise me. I remember straight up saying "rengokus dead" as soon as i recognized akaza from the misty images of the upper moon. punctuation aside i hope episode 1 intro didnt spoil anything
