That little speech by thorfinn was so fucking good man (debatably the best speech in the show alongside askeladds how to kill someone you hate speech). Its all the things I've thought (how he could do this when the same was done to him) and solidified my support for thorfinn's pacifism.

Idk if it was intentional but that whole scene of gardar trying to get arnheid to cut the ropes seemed very representative of their relationship (not saying he was abusive). Like the stuff about the mine or whatever he just made the decision without Arnheid agreeing.
