Claudia gets what she's been after ... found family. Or is it? Louis seems happy (to a point) that Claudia seems happy amongst her own. Still, something feels off.
And NONE of that was missed by Baz or Albert. We already had our suspicions on who (despite our knowledge of the books) we thought might not be on Claudia/Louis side. We fully acknowledge that while the series is keeping to the SPIRIT of Anne's work, we also realize that the script writers are playing fast and loose with HOW they are applying that spirit to the works. Sooooooo, yeah.
