So, here we have part 2 of our Tchaikovsky (queer af) Triptych. This is a re-staging by the incomparable Matthew Bourne. In this version, we can see it from a lens that Tchaikovsky might have approved. Rather than the mythical tale, this takes a very introspective look at the psychology of fame and royalty. The swan (played/danced brilliantly by Adam Cooper) can be a metaphor or an amalgam of various qualities lacking in the prince, but no less a love story of a queer kind.

This was Alberts FIRST exposure to the world of ballet.

He found it extremely powerful. ENJOY!

Next up - our final part (THREE) of the triptych: BILLY ELLIOT.

And let me just drop a hint - the tie between the three parts of this Romantic Valentine was EVERYTHING I'd hoped it would be. Albert did NOT disappoint.
