LET'S VOTE! August 2017 tutorial voting (Patreon)

aloha all!

a warm welcome to all the new Patrons!  anyone notice how close we are to the 1K Patron Concert?!  i'm excited for it to happen this month, because i'll be in Hawaii, and how awesome would it be to livestream the Patron Concert from the Aloha State!

for those who are new:

• the first week of the month, we vote for the monthly tutorial.
• the 2nd week of the month, i share a chord chart for that song (for $3+ Patrons) and teach a live lesson of the song (for $5+ Patrons).  this month's Live Lesson is Thurs 8/17 at 4:30pm PDT - i'm pushing back a week due to travel (taking a week of vacay in Hawaii!), details will be posted separately.
• at the end of the month, i publish a Patron-supported tutorial on YouTube for everyone to enjoy.
• we have a calendar on our forum (please sign up and check out the discussion topics) where you can see the monthly events.  events are also posted on our facebook group.
• heads up that Beginner Jam is Thurs 8/24 at 4:30pm PDT and Intermediate Jam is Thurs 8/31 at 4:30pm PDT.  for consistency, we're going to make 4:30pm the start time of all monthly live events.  details will be posted separately.

first, thank you all so so much for supporting the release of Ukulele Days.  the reception for the album has exceeded my expectations by a (wait for it) landslide.  (working on that tutorial!  slightly delayed by new album craziness)

THIS MONTH'S VOTE - a song from Ukulele Days

Patrons have made this suggestion, and it makes sense to share a song from the new album, both because the arrangement is already clear and set, and because it will help promote the album.  so our song choices this month are the songs from the Ukulele Days album that don't have tutorials yet.  (there are already tutorials for Blackbird, Moon River, Creep, La Vie en Rose, and Here Comes the Sun, check them out!)

HOW TO VOTE

simpler this month, as we're limiting the choices - here's a Ukulele Days playlist where you can review the arrangements.

1. vote for as many of the checkbox song choices as you like below - multiple votes allowed.  please note - as soon as you tick the checkbox, the vote is counted.  (you can look at the ticker on the right!)  note #2 - some Patrons have commented that the voting doesn't work on certain devices, so you might need a desktop browser vs iPad.

2. in addition, you can comment below with another song from the #100DaysofUkuleleSongs project that you'd want a tutorial for.  this will help with song choices for future votes.

voting closes Sunday 8/6 at 11:59pm PDT.  i'll announce the winner on Monday, and post the chord chart when it's ready (may take longer depending on my Hawaii down time, or I might have lots of time on the beach with my uke!).

happy voting!
