Aloha all!

I am really excited to share the new Play-Along video for True Colors. Huge thanks to the Patrons for voting for this beautiful song, and for supporting the production of this video. Enjoy!

The chord chart is attached to this post for your convenience - it is slightly updated from the Live Lesson chart with a new ending chord (based on Patron feedback! I incorporate a chord that captured both the unresolved F and the resolved C, see you what you think!)

New and improved video and audio production

My goal was to take the production level of this video up a notch, for both visuals and audio. Working with director Robert Gomez Hernandez, we tried to find the balance between a performance video and a tutorial video. I'm always experimenting with new things, so I'd love to hear your feedback on what you think of the production and what you might like to see.

Download and stream True Colors

I'm also excited to release True Colors on all digital music outlets!

All Patrons get access to True Colors Live Lesson

Starting with the January 2018 vote, I began releasing Play-Alongs for the vote-winning songs. Instead of a tutorial, Patrons can now access the full hour-long recorded Live Lesson for True Colors to learn the strumming and fingerpicking. If you're not yet a Patron, it's only $1 to join to access this Lesson, plus vote for our next Live Lesson. (To participate in the next Live Lesson, join Patreon at the $5 level)

Patrons can check out my full announcement here.

In the Live Lesson, I teach the song, take questions from our live chat, and share details about how I created the arrangement. I really enjoy being Live with the Patrons - if you haven't checked out a Live Lesson yet, please do, and join us for the next one!

Thank you Patrons for helping me put this video out into the world. Your support gives me the opportunity to grow as an artist and a teacher. Can't wait to hear what you think!
