and our May 2018 Play-Along will be... (Patreon)

Aloha Patrons!

First, a quick shout for all the Patrons who came out full force in Michigan and NYC.  Thank you for all your great energy!  I've just returned home and still buzzing from all your good vibes. :)

Thanks for voting in our May song poll - and thanks for all the support in voting for Cynthia's choice. :)  I'm also super excited about all the Joni Mitchell enthusiasm in the comments.  The Blue album has been a huge source of inspiration as a songwriter, and I will begin working up some of those tunes for future tutorials.

For this month, I've decided to choose Let it Be, which is from our Uke Social packet and also received the most votes.  I've been eager to teach this song because it doesn't have too many chords (beginner-friendly), and it provides an opportunity for me to create a tutorial focused on the Rock Strum.  So I will create a Patron-supported Play-Along for Let It Be to share on YouTube, along with a rock strum tutorial.  (Fast Car Play-Along will be released shortly, after I get myself readjusted to non-tour life!)

I will teach Let it Be in Thursday's Live Lesson for $5+ Patrons and post a chord chart for $3+ Patrons.  The Chord Chart and Live Lesson recording will be made available to all Patrons once the Play-Along is posted.
