Aloha Patrons!

***updated with chord chart!***

See you today Thursday 1/17 at 4:30pm Pacific Time for our monthly Live Lesson - if you click on the video above, you’ll see a countdown for your timezone.

I'll teach our January vote winner, Bohemian Rhapsody Part 1.  I'm working on making it accessible but still capturing the song, which is quite a feat.  It's a fun challenge!

The chord chart is a Work in Progress - I depend on Patron feedback to complete the final chart.  Please wait for the final published version to share with others.  Thank you!

looking forward to this... I am doing a five hour choir workshop to learn it in March... Queen is on trend

I suggested it last month, I've always wanted to be able to play this song! But the nasty chords put me off.

Can’t wait to learn this! If I’m still awake see you at the live lesson 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

You know it’s funny, I don’t think I’ve ever had one of my votes as a lesson but whatever gets chosen, once I see the chord chart I’m always excited by it.....🤗

Cynthia Lin

the fancy chords are optional - there's always a way to simplify! and thank you for the suggestion! :)

Great ! Love the fun chords. Can't wait for the part 2 🙏

Just totally finished watching the recording. Thanks for all your hard brain work on this and all the arrangements. You are correct, you have become synonymous with making it easier for us. Appreciated! It’s why I always come back to you and your arrangements. I also continue to love how you make it so beginner friendly and keep the intermediate players happy too. :) My biggest challenge continues to be chord melody. If I have a picking pattern throughout a song, I”m fine, but the riffs in the middle of a song or chord melody starts to hurt my head and fingers. Will there be any chord melody in the 6 week classes? Are the 6 week classes helpful for bringing us back to basics? (I know you’ve tried to explain this so I hope I”m not asking the same question again)

Troy Smith

Wow, this is so perfect. My 13 year old loves this song as do I. We talked about learning it together. Then, baaaam, you have it here. We will master part one while waiting for part two.
