Aloha, uke friends!

This year, the 100 Days of Ukulele Songs (which ran roughly April through July, 2020) participants were so active and supportive of each other on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, that I decided to create a post-project Showcase video to feature as many of the talented and dedicated players who created 50 or more videos over the course of the project as I could. I hope you’ll join me on YouTube today for a live premiere of this video.

Participants who opted in to the video Showcase were asked to share a video they had posted for one of their 100 Days and some thoughts about what the project meant to them. Many people shared original songs or collaborations with friends (online and IRL) and family. I hope their work will inspire you as much as it has inspired me!

I also want to give a special thanks to Terry Brandsma for helping us to organize submissions, to Jenny Selig for overseeing the whole project, and to our intrepid editor Eric Mayrand for all his hard work putting the video together.

I look forward to seeing you online, and be sure to say hello in the chat and leave some encouraging comments for our performers!
