Tune in Saturday for our Harvest Moon Strum Party - CL x Ukulenny Community Livestream (Patreon)

{Public post}

Aloha, friends!

Ukulenny and I are back this Saturday for our monthly Community Livestream.  All are invited to join us on YouTube for a Virtual Concert and Jam.  Download the songbook pdf below, and you can strum and sing along at home with hundreds of folks across the world!  The songbook download is free for everyone, thanks to the support of the Patrons. :)  Thank you for supporting our experiments with creating virtual community in a time of physical distancing!

September theme: Harvest Moon Strum Party

During the last full moon, I started thinking of the Neil Young song "Harvest Moon," a sweet tune which is beloved by many, and all these other moon songs came to mind as well.  This year's Harvest Moon officially arrives on 10/1, so let's celebrate with a series of moon-themed songs.

Our setlist (and practice links):

• Dancing in the Moonlight - new play-along + mini tutorial
• Moondance - same key as the original
• Fly Me to the Moon - public tutorial
• Buwan - reference video
• Moon River - public tutorial
• Harvest Moon - video + mini tutorial
• Total Eclipse of the Heart - the original is half a key higher, you can capo 1 (sorry i don't have a reference video in this key yet)

Ukulenny and I will perform these songs live and without much instruction, so I encourage you to play along at a level that's comfortable for you, and for the harder songs, you can just sit back and enjoy the show.  The livestream will also be recorded, so you can practice along with it afterwards.
