aloha uke friends!

i've taken a bit of a summer break, feeling refreshed and have lots of ideas about sharing online classes with you and hosting workshop weekends in San Francisco.

in the mean time, it was sweet to see this full layout in Ukulele Magazine!  link to the article here: http://www.ukulelemag.com/stories/video-made-the-ukulele-star-5-people-behind-youtubes-most-popular-uke-channels

looking forward to the Live Jam with $10+ Patrons on Tuesday.  you can edit your pledge up to $10 to check out the jam, and can always edit it back.

projects i've been working on:

-SF Uke Jam Workshop Weekend over the Columbus Day holiday (Oct 7-9).  more info soon, but save the date if you'd like to come to San Francisco for workshops, jams, concerts, and socials with me and Ukulenny!

- i'm adding more structure to my teaching, creating a 2nd 6-lesson series to follow my Basics course.  ultimately, i'd like to create a comprehensive curriculum for the beginner player, teaching all the foundational strums and skills.  i'll follow with a Beginner Holiday class at the end of the year, and a Beginner Beatles class next year.

- i'm working on new songs with an LA producer and friend.  it's been 2 years since my last album Midnight Echoes (listen here: https://cynthialin.bandcamp.com/album/midnight-echoes ),and it feels really good to be writing again.

- and i do have the Build Me Up Buttercup tutorial on deck.  it takes several hours to prep, shoot, and edit each tutorial - I'm bringing on some part-time help so I can produce more tutorials.

thank you for reading, and thank you so much for your support.  it's a joy to do what i love to do, and thank you for helping me share that joy.

happy music-making!

cynthia.

Hi Cynthia, It’s great to see that at last your talent and dedication has at last been recognised. It’s brilliant to see you up there as one of the best in the business. We Patreon followers know of course that you are actually THE best! Keep on strumming Cynth and thanks for all that you do. :)

I have just joined you and wholeheartedly support your advocation to share the Spirit of Aloha through the Ukulele. I am interested in developing my ukulele skills through a group lesson. I would appreciate your recommendation on how I should proceed. Thank you .
