i'd like to invite you to San Francisco for a special weekend workshop with SF Uke Jam, hosted by me and Ukulenny.  come join us on Saturday October 8th for a day full of jams, clinics, and concerts.  enjoy jamming with our SF Uke Jam community, and build the skills to lead your own jam!

in many ways, i designed this workshop for you, my lovely patrons. :)  i know some of you jam with me online because you don't have your own jam group, and others have asked about how to lead a jam.  san francisco is a beautiful city, and i would be thrilled to have you join our uke community for the weekend.

Come join us on Saturday October 8th for a day full of jams, clinics, and concerts with SF Uke Jam leaders Cynthia Lin and Ukulenny. Enjoy jamming with our SF Uke Jam community, and build the skills to lead your own jam!All Workshop ticket holders will receive a Welcome goodie bag and a special Workshop jam packet.

We invite friends from the Bay Area and beyond to come to San Francisco for this special weekend event. Workshop attendees will receive a discount code for the charming Hotel Rex, located near Union Square in downtown SF.

PROGRAM:

Friday Oct 7th 6:30-8pm @ Hotel Rex (optional)

Welcome / Registration and Happy Hour featuring Cynthia's jazz ukulele duo. Check in for the workshop and meet other workshop attendees. Food and drink menu available, free and open to the public.

Saturday Oct 8th 8:30am-12:15pm @ Hotel Rex

We'll kick the morning off with breakfast (included) and a warmup uke jam, then break out into Strum Clinics - Beginner Strum Clinic with Cynthia and Advanced Strum Clinic with Ukulenny. Finally, we'll come back together for our main event - How to Lead a Jam Workshop. Lenny and Cynthia will walk you through the skills you'll need to lead your own jam, and even give you time on stage to practice! Workshop ticket holders only.

Saturday 2-3pm @ Aloha Warehouse (optional)

We'll visit our local ukulele store and get a talk from the ukulele experts at Aloha Warehouse. Learn about Hawaiian ukuleles and woods, and try out a wide variety of ukes!

Saturday 4-6:30pm @ Pa'ina Lounge

Come jam with our SF Uke Jam community! October is our Movie Madness Jam, and you're also welcome to share a song in our Open Mic. The jam is casual and free to the public, so you're welcome to bring friends and family. Pa'ina Lounge is in the heart of Japantown SF and serves delicious Hawaiian food and drink.

Saturday 8-10pm @ Pa'ina Lounge

Take a break to walk around Japantown, and come back to Pa'ina for a concert featuring Ukulenny, Cynthia's band the Blue Moon All Stars, and more special guests. Also free and open to the public.
