Aloha, friends!

Tour has been a whirlwind, and U3 is having the best time, learning and growing as a band, finding new nuances in our arrangements, enjoying the energy of our audiences.  THANK YOU to everyone who attended our first 3 shows of our West Coast Tour at The Freight and Island Bazaar, and we can't wait to see folks in Spokane, Seattle, and Vancouver (get your tix!).  Your support means the world!

It's so crazy after the show, with crowds and packing up our gear (sometimes to catch a flight), plus I need to save my voice, that I don't get to meet all the fans and Patrons.  If you'd like to share your show highlights here, I'd love to read them.  It's fun for me to hear what moved you most about the show, and it helps shape our shows for the future.

First featured photo above is from our Berkeley pre-show Meet & Greet.  Lots of Patrons in there, let me know if you see yourself!  At our 2nd show at Island Bazaar, we were joined by the loveliest hula dancers, I loved their interpretation of Wahine 'Ilikea.

I've posted one tour vlog so far on IG and FB, stay tuned for more!  If you have show pics and video, please dm them to @u3ukulele.  Onward, and thank you!!!

I loved the banter of U3. The entire event was fun, the audience got to know each other and meet online friends, and the show was dynamic. A great time was had by all! Excellent performance. Each of U3 shined. 💜🦜

It was so much fun seeing you at Island Bazaar! My favorite was the energy brought to each song that was played and the stories that were shared.

Berkeley was awesome! First show of your tour and you had 300+ people. Your excitement was evident and so were all your talents (all 3 of U). And I bought my 3rd ukulele - A beautiful Ohana Cynthia Lin Signature concert size!

Lisa Woll

This concert was totally awesome! Lots of Rock and Roll, Pop And traditional Hawaiian! You let us sing with you and whistle along to make it even more dynamic. I was very happy to be back at Berkeley's Freight and Salvage and to hear the band live again after 3 years! This was my Mother's Day present and hearing you cheer for the moms and singing with Ukulenny's tribute brought a tear to my eye. WOW!

Aloha Cynthia, Lenny and Abe, I saw your second show at the Island Bazaar. You sounded FANTASTIC. Love your energy. You all were spontaneous, took chances, and made everyone feel special. You must be psychic, asking if those gals are Hula Dancers and they were! So special to have them come up and dance (espically since last year you had Uncle Allen give lessons so I had some insight into Hula). Good luck on the rest of your tour

I'm excited to attend the Spokane WA show in a few days! My question, in case anyone knows, do I bring my ukulele to the Meet and Greet session which is before the concert? I'm not sure if the Bing Crosby Theater allows us to bring such a thing into the building? I'm looking forward to the show! :)

Mahalo, Cynthia, Lenny and Abe. Love your photos! We would have loved to come to your event at Huntington Beach but it's a 2+ hour drive. Congratulations on your U3 World tour! Warmest Aloha always, Cher and Steve :)

Kit Bergman

Mahalo to you, Lenny and Abe for the fantastic show in Berkeley! It was so nice to meet you all and meet some 100 Dayers in person. Have a great tour! (Break a leg? Does that apply to musical performances too?)

Susana

Aloha Cynthia, I really enjoyed the Meet and Greet, and the wonderful concert in Berkeley! I loved every minute of it. I enjoyed watching and listening to the talents of you, Abe and Lenny. Also, it was great to meet the 100 days participants and other ukulele friends! U3 = A+++

The U3 show in Berkeley was AH-MAZING! The way you guys joke around is so fun to watch! I was so excited to meet you in person and beyond thrilled to take photos with you. My favorite part of the show was when you played Sweet Child of Mine! My husband and I went nuts! Please do an 80’s session in Patreon because that was insanely awesome!

Kathy Meyerson

Susana, did people bring ukuleles to the Meet and Greet? I'm glad you enjoyed it. I get to attend tomorrow in Spokane! At this point, I don't plan to bring my ukulele but don't want to kick myself for not. Not sure how it is set up. Is it a "wander around" or people sit down?

Susana

Hello Kathy, I brought my ukulele but I did not use it. You do not need to bring your ukulele. I went to the amazing concert in Berkeley at the Freight and Salvage. It is a sit-down concert although we stood up quite a few times for standing ovation since Cynthia, Abe and Lenny were so great!! The three of them have so much talent, great ukulele playing (other instruments, too), singing and humor, too. What a great show!!! Cynthia, Abe and Lenny are really multi-talented!! You'll definitely enjoy the concert in Spokane!! My 100 day friend, Nancy, will be there!!! Have fun tonight!!!!! - Susana f

Susana

Yes, Lenny's touching tribute to Jelly and his daughter brought a tear to my eye, too!! What a great concert!!!

Steven Winget

Hi, I was at the Berkeley show, and at the Meet and Greet session. It was just that, along with taking photos with the band. Nobody had a ukulele with them; there was no time for that.

Kathy Meyerson

I'm leaving soon to head to the concert here in Spokane WA. What an exciting day. Thank you for your reply. Take care. :)

Kathy Meyerson

I just attended the Spokane concert tonight. Wow! It was full of delightful surprises. U3 could not have been more engaging and excellent. I had a GREAT time and made new friends who also play ukulele. :)

The Berkeley show was awesome, it was my first time seeing you guys live! I got caught in traffic but luckily I made it to the last few minutes of the meet and greet. Bummed that I missed out on the group and solo pic session but at least I got all your autographs and a selfie after the show! Thanks for bringing the Aloha to California! I'm also glad I bought the cd as well, it sounds great! It's in my car and I've probably listened to it over 20 times now! I really like the song Sanctuary - it reminds me of a place I stayed at last month in Waialua called The Sanctuary Estate. I also like Mas Que Nada / Kikaida Theme - it's catchy and was stuck in my head during this last week when I was visiting friends in Kailua! I'm planning to go to Uke-Splosion in June so see ya there!!!
