We are nearly at the end of our 100 Days of Ukulele Project for 2023 (today is day 98!!). Congrats to everyone who has participated and thank you to all who have supported by watching videos and posting encouraging comments.

As we did in 2021 and 2022, we've designed a special T-shirt to commemorate the project, and we are trying a new method for ordering.  This year, with me being on tour, I've asked our Patron Community Manager and 100 Days Project Coordinator Jenny Selig to take over the t-shirt sales.  She and the 100 Days admin and moderator team did some research on printing options and found a new method that offers faster international shipping and more customizable options, like choosing from many colors and many styles of shirts.

The 100 Days of Ukulele 2023 T-shirt is designed by Dan Funderburgh (who is our Community Manager Jenny Selig's husband!), and is available this year in three different colorways, and with or without text. You can also order designs from previous years' projects.

This is a new experiment, and folks seem to be having a good experience already.  Let us know your experience with shipping costs and times -- we hope it will work better for the community. I look forward to seeing photos of you wearing your shirts!

A NEW WAY TO ORDER YOUR 100 DAYS SHIRT - and pick up past designs

Because past years' shirts needed to be purchased and printed in bulk, there was a pre-order period to determine how many people were interested. After sales and shipping were completed, returned shirts and a small number of extra shirts were sold on Cynthia’s merch site (you can check to see if there are any remaining at that link - last I looked there were a few mediums from 2022), but most remaining sizes sold out quickly after pre-orders closed. For that reason, the 100 Days of Ukulele shirts have been a limited edition.

This year we are doing the ordering a bit differently – We’ll be going through the Redbubble website, where no pre-order is necessary and there is no set deadline for orders. The site's platform allows us to upload multiple designs, and will allow you to put the design of your choice on any number of items, and in some cases (as with tee shirts) you will also get to choose the background (i.e. shirt) color. Not all items or styles are available in all color/design combos. Choose your combo carefully -- some shirt colors can make design elements nearly disappear if the ink doesn't show up well.

Redbubble will handle item-specific questions, payments, returns, and shipping issues, making the workload much lighter for Cynthia and our amazing 100 Days Moderator and Admin Team.

Not into t-shirts? The shop offers lots of other options, from tank tops and sweatshirts to pins, hats, and aprons -- even stickers, mugs, pet bandanas, and more! You can sort by category in the shop to see the designs available on each type of item.

Shipping and Customer Service

Redbubble uses third-party printers customized to your location and ships to most countries (see their site for more information). This should make shipping faster (and, we hope, less expensive) than in past years, but we cannot vouch for the cost or speed of shipping, the quality of the shirts, or the print quality. It will vary by location. Let us know how it goes for you!
