Her being a shifter too?! Didn’t expect that. Oddly wholesome. Okay Sookie with the seduction. Her interactions with the other mind reader was funny. The Hoyt & Jessica phone convo was cute. Still kinda eww about the age difference. “I’ll tell you when you can laugh you piss ant little sinner” was such a crazy line but I love that Luke got in trouble for laughing at Jason. Oof not Terry giving Arlene the cold shoulder at work after the party. Aww poor Lafayette asking for his job back. Hate seeing him so unlike his normal self & traumatized from his experience 😭 Not Maryann inviting herself & the others to stay at Sookie’s house. The emotional manipulation is on another level with guilt tripping Tara. Jason showing his leadership qualities. I’m proud of him but also scared for him cuz the cult is crazy. Yikes the vampire strategizing meeting was tense. The church’s weapons arsenal is intense. I feel like the pastor talking so descriptively about the guillotine is foreshadowing him or maybe one of the vampires getting put in it by the end of the season. Not Maryann making the bar turn on Tara & getting joy from it. Sarah bathing Jason was crazy. Not Sergio’s”you like that?” In that voice 😂 I really liked Sookie’s red dress. Sookie wanting to go undercover with the fellowship seems like a dangerous plan. Especially knowing she’s dating a vampire cuz of Jason sharing that info. Absolutely loved the Eric flashback. So Godric is his maker! Daphne & Sam on the pool table tho 🔥 Barry “quitting”? I think something else happened to him since Sookie kept talking about him being a telepath out loud. Perhaps someone overheard 🤔 OMG that ending! Is that his maker? I had a feeling she’d pop up again at some point. Things are getting so messy! I can’t even predict where this story is going & i love it. When Sookie & Jason’s storylines intersect it’s gonna be so chaotic with the vampires & fellowship facing off. I can’t wait! Absolutely LIVING for these reactions from y’all 🖤

once you notice how heavy-handed the score for this show is (specifically the way it's used to tell you how to feel and in that scene the quick back and forth between sweet and eerie is hilarious) you can't unhear it. not that i'm complaining though, the score is beautiful. but the way it's often used is so camp lol

They don’t say for sure in the show or books, but people speculate he’s in his late 20’s. The actor was 27 at the time of the filming.

maybe its a rose mary's baby situation with tara? would explain why she wants tara and eggs to become a couple. she found him first and so found the perfect match for him in tara. what she wants to do with said baby once she has it is anyone's guess but that is the only theory i have other then maybe there is something supernatural/special about tara that hasnt been revealed that she can sense. or she is just a uniquely special human that fits the need of a spell/plan maryann has

true but the only reason it doesn’t upset me is because of how stunted hoyt is. i don’t think he has the power in their dynamic, jessica actually holds power bc she’s a vampire so she’s stronger and can glamour him. hoyt isn’t grooming her or manipulating her. he’s very immature (not his fault) and pure of mind and heart. he’s very child like so that’s why yes he is older but he doesn’t use that to his advantage. plus hoyt is also a virgin so its not like he has more experience than jessica. his mother has smothered him his entire life so he’s very sheltered and mentally the same age as jessica (imo). that’s partially why i think they were attracted to each other. they’re both young minded & innocent and can see that in each other.

Fun fact: (well kinda) Godric is supposed to be Pictish. The Picts were smaller, dark.haired, dark eyed people who inhabited Britain before the AngloSaxon invasion. They were known for their "blue woad" tattoos like the one around Godric's neck.
