Jason

Yaaasss!!! 🏳️‍🌈😂

Whitney P

Thank you lord! I've been chomping at the bit to get new reacts to TB!

Michael Instone

Love Jason and Tara, though they're all great characters.

Aurro Eronaile

Nan Flanagan is sooo that bitch, I love her ❤️❤️

Luke Thighwalker

Laughing alongside y'all when Sookie said "letting it take up space in your skull" 🤣🤣 god her wit is to die for

Kiana B.

the godric stuff always gets me, damn. 😭

Julie D

This is probably my fave ep of S2, and it's very nostalgic for me as an Eric fan, because this is the ep where I really started to love him. When Eric loves someone, he loves them so deeply and with such intense devotion. Seeing his vulnerability as he drops his tough exterior and collapses to his knees in tears kills me every time. And the dream sequence! Crazy chemistry between these two. I LOVE that Cody immediately clocked that Sookie drinking Bill's blood could potentially be impacting her feelings for him. Bill has definitely been less than transparent with her about that. Great reaction, as always!

Alex Scott

2:26 "We are now becoming True Blood. It's like, emotionally damaging, but we're going to grind on ourselves." LMFAO.

Chew Chew

I love the way you both said "Sookie" in unison.

rickie woodson

chips or fries on a sandwich. thought that was just a british thing. maybe its from their ancestors

courtney 🧚🏽‍♀️

i hate how eric tricked sookie into drinking his blood. it’s just so manipulative and it always rubbed me the wrong way. if he truly cared for her he would have let things grow naturally if that was a possibility but instead he lied and forced the situation. hoyt is SO sweet 🥹 i literally can’t with him and jessica they’re so adorable. his mother is the WORST. it’s crazy how someone so kind and caring like him came out of that woman. also love the brother sister moment with sookie and jason.

fangtasiababe

sooo excited i’ve been waiting on y’all’s reaction! got my snacks & my fave drink babyyy i’m sat 🍿🍫

Fauxindigo

Maryanne has always reminded me of Glory on Buffy - “in torture, death and chaos does my power lie.”- would be amazing to see those two divas cross paths

Soph

RIP Godric... ugh i always cry

RavenLord

"I feel like you're my Hoyt." Sergio, stop! That made me tear up when you said that to Cody, and I don't like to cry. 🥰

Wham8

At least Glory was funny and goofy. I really dislike Maryanne, the character. It's not fair, but I feel like her arc has gone on too long. I don't recall what happens in the series, so I'll ride with it, but, sheesh. Die already.

Gemma

Eric is another Spike for me. A creepy manipulative vampire, who wouldn’t be popular if he wasn’t hot.

Joshua R

Godric's scene always makes me cry so much.

Robke

Maryanne is such a unique villain!! I really have no comparison, noone comes to mind. She's very memorable to me. The choice of actress here is perfection. I was really sick of her and wanted badly for her to die during my first watch, but now I can appreciate the chaos ;D

DewLeepa

the only one that's comparative is glorificus from buffy, but def two different beasts

DewLeepa

watching this with grown up eyeballs vs as an almost 20 year old when it first came out i see how hokey and soap opera a lot of it is, but eric's pleading for godric made me tear up during their rewatch of this ep, too

Fauxindigo

Haha it hasn’t gone on too long she is hardly even in it tbh they focus way more on the vampire stuff but Maryanne is such a wicked villain !! Gotta appreciate her for that; I love to hate her

Fauxindigo

I resent that. Spike is an amazing character regardless of his looks. I always did feel like Eric & Bill are this shows Angel & Spike though

courtney 🧚🏽‍♀️

i’ve seen that trope a lot in vampire shows especially TVD damon gets away with so much just bc he’s attractive. being hot doesn’t erase your shitty behavior lol

DewLeepa

loling at two of the gayest men alive, one saying, 'would we willingly suck on eric's chest?' the other coyly saying, 'i think i would.'

SimoneCherie

Lafeyette dragging his cousin out of there upside down 🙏🏾🙏🏾 everyone deserves a cousin like La

A Cup of Cait

That brother sister moment with Sookie and Jason is so great. Gets me everytime 😭

Gemma

Spike would not be considered “amazing” by most of his fans if he looked ugly though, let’s be honest.

Cec Holstead

Okay so back to the beginning when Luke was jealous of Jason, Sergio said " This guy's going to blow up!" I laughed so hard thinking about how he meets his end here, blowing up!

AJ

Sookie's quick comebacks are everything omg 💜

pamysue

If you all want to see more (pretty much all) of Alexander Skarsgård (Eric), Pillion is showing (unedited version) on HBO. Called the best Queer movie of 2025 by many critics. This is NOT for kids! 🫦😉 Anybody would be lucky to have a partner like Hoyt. If Cody is that kind of person, you hold onto him tight.💖

BattyT

I mean, neither would Angel, if he’d been hideous while creeping on a 15 year old Buffy

BattyT

I realllllyyyy hope they watch Pillion!

BattyT

Love this episode and your reactions. Godric is such a fascinating character and I love the whole rooftop scene so much. Interesting that during the sexy dream, Sookie tells Eric he has depth and love inside him, and then when his Maker is about to die, we see that he is capable of deep love and vulnerability. Love that Alexander Skarsgard got to show his acting chops a little. Personally, I chalk Eric’s manipulation up to vampires being vampires. It was shady but I think Bill is a little over dramatic. I think glamouring someone is just as bad, if not worse, and it’s not really regarded that way in the show. All the vampires on here are pretty self serving & Sookie is strong enough to see through the bullshit and know her own heart.

Juley

I’ve read the Sookie Stackhouse series multiple times and I love it! The show diverges a lot from the novels, especially as the seasons progress. But I love the show too! I just see them as separate entities with many of the same characters. There are some storylines from the books that I really wish they had included in the show, but there are also unique storylines/characters from the show that I really love. One of them is Godric. I love what they did with his character in the show! He is one of my favorite characters in the series. We lost him too soon!

Josh Minke

the way Godric burned up, is just so beautiful

Michael

“Sheriff, you fucked up. You’re fired.” LMAOO the way she just said it. So deadpan. . I just adore Nan Flanagan.

Michael

I love when this show leans more into Vampire vs Vampires drama/politics. It’s so much more interesting than Humans vs Vampires sometimes.

Miss Maya

you know what Cody is so right and I didn't even think about it before. it's convenient Bill only mentioned sexual attraction thing being consequence of drinking Erics blood.. but he never said anything before... when she had his blood 👀

m c

Not too much on Maryann now, it’s like Cyndi Lauper said, Maenads just wanna have fun!

Fiona Fleming

The last time I watched this episode, it was as a teenager. And I remember thinking exactly what you guys thought - that it was sad Godric didn't like being a vampire and decided to end his life Now as an adult, I have a slightly different perspective. I think Godric had undergone, for lack of a better term, the vampire equivalent of a spiritual awakening. A shift into higher consciousness, a more evolved way of being Just based on what I've studied about people who exist in higher states of consciousness, they often don't identify as strongly with their Ego/identity and have mastered detachment to attachments in the physical world Godric very much gives me the impression that he evolved into a heightened state of being. This shift made him see clearly all the monstrous things he and his kind have done. Awakenings can sometimes prompt periods of deep depression because you no longer identify with the 'old' self, so to speak. Couple that with finally holding himself accountable for all his vampiric misdeeds and it makes a lot of sense, at least to me, why he is the way he is. Just as well, Godric spoke and conducted himself like a more consciously evolved person, advocating for peace, mercy, cooperation, and understanding when he could have easily killed all the Fellowship members Do I still wish he hadn't ended his life? Of course. Does it make sense why he did? Yes; I understand his character now so much more than I did then

Jackson Potluck

I realize it's probably just because every single person on planet earth has chemistry with Alexander Skarsgård, but man, Anna Paquin has so much more with him than her actual boyfriend irl.

pamysue

Even if they don't react to it, I hope they watch it🔥❤️‍🔥

Gemma

Yep, but Angel was nowhere near as beloved as Spike.

Jbug

this made me cry, so much heart in this episode. Anna paquin is incredible. I cant believe how much I've grown to love this show. such an epic story. the conversation between sookie and Jason was everything i needed from them. im nervous about what will happen between Eric and sookie.. OH and Maryann needs to be VANQUISHED

Puffadder

Did anyone else notice Sookie checking Eric out HARD during the meeting with Nan. Looking him up and down like a piece of meat, and the way she kept looking away when she'd catch herself was killing me

KatieBee

"I want my dayum cornnnn!" 🤣

m c

Nan Flanagan knows EXACTLY who she is

First Question

You know what I just realized after watching this show and reading the books, and rewatching this episode with y’all? Maxine Fortenberry is a boymom lol.

orangeflavor

Oh man, I want a Godric subplot soooo bad now. Like, I just want to know what happened to him to shift his mindset after 2000 years. I'm sure it was a gradual thing but there's always a catalyst to something like that. That's a story I want to explore. Also, now you've got me thinking about Bill giving Sookie his blood literally THE NIGHT they met. How are we able to judge what her genuine feelings without the blood would be for him, when we don't have anything to compare it to? And why hasn't she clocked that he conveniently left that part out before? I don't know. I usually gravitate between loving Bill and rolling my eyes at him in frustration but now he feels kind of sus to me.

Victoria

Sometimes in the beginning of the video (the presentation), Cody looks so still to the camera that I truly get scared! 😂😂😂 Love you guys. You are my favourite reactors. Also I am watching this on the gym and I could not stop crying when Sergio was singing the song. Your videos truly make my days.

Natalie-Anne

Oooh I hate Maryann she is scum. She has SA’d all of those poor people of bon temps. The mind may have blacked it out but the body keeps the score.

Liv Pasquarelli

cody your bill impression saying “sooookehhh” was so spot on 😭

Kimberly S. (Rawr)

OMG THAT OPENING tho! 🤯 The chaos & jaw dropping moments this show is putting us through in 2 seasons alone is beyond wild. Okay Eric protecting Sookie, I see you. The intro singing was giving me life 🙌🏼 Sookie & Eric’s interactions are always so good. Comedic gold with the “suck it out…I can’t it’s too gross, and it’s you” 😂 His smile tho! Damn all so he could trick her into drinking his blood to sense her emotions is wild. He’s such a schemer. Hoyt wanting Jessica to meet his mom? I’m sure that won’t go terribly. Hoyt is the sweetest. Nobody better touch a hair on his head. I’m really enjoying Jason and Sookie bonding as siblings 💚 I love Terry & Arlene finally talking the awkwardness out. Oof that scene of Lafayette & Eggs getting into it at the bar over Tara tho ☕️ Honestly LOVED the scene of Hoyt telling off his mother. The Sookie & Eric dream with Lorena taunting her was crazy. Maryann doing a full jailbreak was crazy tho. Welp that dinner could’ve gone better. Damn Maryann making Tara & Eggs fight Lafayette & her mom was insane! Them forcefully having to take Tara away from them was wild 🤯 can Tara catch a break? She continues to go through it at every turn. Maryann is an absolute menace! She needs to go ASAP. The vampire logistics meeting was tense. Maryann demanding everyone find Sam at the diner was so scary. Oof Eric breaking down over Godric’s decision. That was a really sweet scene between Sookie & Godric on the rooftop. Beautiful but brutal ending. The blue fire was so cool. This was another great episode that gave a lot of feels. The twists, turns, character moments, and that ending. Amazing reaction as always 🖤

R

This is why you'd never see me shipping Eric and Sookie, Eric was beyond disgusting making her do that, it's literally forcing yourself on someone. Don't get why people romanticise it.

Vulpix

Jason as a character could so easily get flanderised so I’m hoping the show lets him actually develop and learn as it goes instead of ‘resetting’ his development whenever it would be convenient for the plot. It’s been so long since I’ve seen it, I genuinely can not remember what happens.

B-dad

Andy even looked down at Sam naked before inviting him in. He was ready to get fugged 🥵🤪😂

Mahaut

I remember being so mad about that virginity plot point from the first time I saw it! This is so biologically wrong!
