The Emmys are tonight! Widow’s Bay is expected to win big. Matthew Rhys (Tom), Kate O’flynn (Patricia), and the show itself in comedy series are all winning, I’m sure.

Patricia is the ultimate final girl! Everyone loves her; there are compilations of tons of people in Patricia costumes at this year's Comic-Con, if you want to look for those once you're all caught up. I'm glad that Kate O'Flynn is getting so many well-deserved kudos for her awesome work on this show. Also, fun fact: she's BFFs with Jonathan Bailey in real life. I know it's exhausting that we're constantly reccing stuff for you to watch, but since you love the slasher vibes, at some point you should really watch the 1984 season of American Horror Story. It's self-contained, so you don't need to see the other seasons, and it's very much inspired by Friday the 13th and other 80s slasher movies, so you'd be really into it, I think.

I can't remember the episode but they already know the identity of the Boogeyman and because he couldn't die they incased him in cement in his old house. So that's why Queen Patricia didn't need to take off his mask. Also they ALWAYS wake up when you try to take off the mask.

Idk if you've ever seen the TV show Slasher but it's crazy, sometimes cheesy and absolutely brutal. It's a Canadian whodunit high gore anthology series. Each season features a new masked killer, a different setting, and a mostly new cast. It's like a R-rated Agatha Christie mystery, letting you guess the killer's identity.

I have a theory that the Boogeyman specifically went after her and didn't kill her back in the day *because* she lied about the calls... almost like she summoned him with the lie, but hadn't been chosen by the island and so the ritual couldn't be completed. Alternately, he visited her and left her alive as a kind of taunt--to show she once again wasn't "chosen."

Interesting take on the episode title, I never even knew it. So if we're talking about emotional baggage this might be the first time we see Wyck shy away from action. Patricia and Tom admitted the truth when push came to shove but Wyck backed down from telling the story that accompanied the photo. Not that I think he was wrong to do so, just interesting if the episode is about the baggage they carry; he still shoulders his.

THIS is my favorite episode! Final girl Patricia 🙌🏼 Can’t help but stan 💜 She STAYED on him 👏🏼 Absolutely LOVED her tasing her! 😂 I would’ve used the last of my battery in that situation as well 🙃 I loved that the story circled back to the pilot of her mentioning the boogeyman & having that play out in present day. Such a fun blend of comedy & horror. I felt so bad for Evan learning the truth about his mom. Those letters were so creepy & heartbreaking. Glad him & Tom seemed to have come out the other end of it tho. I felt bad for Wyck too. Glad Bashir was okay. I LOVE how excited you were watching this episode. That ominous ending tho! 👏🏼 One of my favorite reactions from y’all 🖤
