Howdy guys,

as the game is progressing and I recently suspected some kind of strange movement against any form of the cuckolding in the adult gaming community, I'm facing with our storywriters one main question... 

What is your actual personal opinion on cuckolding in any kind of form in the game (i.e. very extensive interpretation where one of the three main female characters would be having fun not just with the main character...)?

personally, I enjoy a cuckolding storyline, but usually as the one causing the partnered woman to cheat. Otherwise, if it became a revenge storyline, either on the male trying to dominate my life, or perverting the partner into a complete slut - those sound like entertaining options :)

There are a couple of considerations that need to be addressed. For example, Sonya is married. It's quite likely she's still sleeping with her husband. For many people, there's likely a great difference between being the cuckold and doing the cuckolding. Similarly with Jessica, she seems the type who very well may have some friends with benefits already. Does a particular player feel like it is cuckolding if she has preexisting relationships or partners? Speaking more generally, if there is a character that is a total slut that sleeps around, if a player had a sexual encounter with that character, would the player then feel like a cuckold if said character continued in the same vein as before? Personally, I'm more on the romantic end of the spectrum. I don't really enjoy cheating in general, whether it is my character doing it or their significant other. Even with harem or polyamorous routes, I vastly prefer all people being aware and accepting of the arrangement instead of things being done behind the backs of others. On the other hand, my preferences aren't necessarily the highest priority. Take that hypothetical total slut character I mentioned before. While I might like a happily-ever-after ending route for each character, it might not make sense for that character to have one. Maybe she can change; maybe she can't. If it doesn't make sense for that character to change, that character probably shouldn't. I'd rather have a well-written story with believable, consistent characters than one where characters magically transform because I clicked a particular dialogue option. In the end, it is a game. I generally view cheating routes as failure routes. For those that enjoy that kind of thing, I don't begrudge their inclusion, but I try to avoid them. As long as there are at least a few routes that I can enjoy, that don't require bizarre logic or perfect decisions to achieve, I'm fairly content with whatever the author wants to include in their game.

Understanding that everyone is different and that my view is not “right” for everyone…. here are my 2 cents, do with them as you please... I typically think of cuckolding as my character sitting silent as his girl shags another dude or rubbing someone’s face in their partners infidelity. Not interested. I’m also not very interested in being the cheater in a committed relationship. But As an unentangled alpha. I like to be able to pursue an encounter with anyone that may peak my interest. If that woman happens to be in a relationship and is open and interested in either leaving it or in a no strings rendezvous. That is fine by me. But I think a no strings encounter should have "no strings". I don’t feel like it should be a bad ending. And I definitely don’t think it should negatively impact your ability to pursue another relationship. Also, I’m not very interested it trying to rope a free spirit into another doomed relationship. Let her fly.

I don't mind it at all if it makes sense in the story. Can't expect every girl to just always be swooned just because I'm the protagonist. A good example would be a lesbian girl for instance. Though having some way of getting into the action given the right choices should be possible. :)

It just occurred to me that I went on a bit of a tangent and forget to get around to the point I was trying to make. I mentioned situations where cuckolding might apply to Sonya or Jessica, but I forgot Christine. In her case, I imagine it would have more to do with corruption, but even people who share an enjoyment of that fetish might want different things. Some might want to turn the nice, naive, innocent character into their personal toy. For others, the fun might be in eroding all morals and mores the character once possessed. For the former, having the character with others is going too far. For the later, the job isn't done until the character has abandoned any pretense of monogamy or restraint she may have once possessed. What might be too far for one player might not be far enough for another. I think the most likely candidate you are considering is Sonya. Given that she gets aroused by the player being a bit of an ass, and you've said her story is about her unfulfilled urges, that seems the direction her arc is taking. Still, I could see it being any of the three characters. The reason I mention it is because it may not be a black and white issue that cuckolding is or isn't bad for every player. Context can matter a lot. To really get an accurate assessment of how players feel, it might be wise to share some more details such as which character and give a general sense of what you envision for her arc, although I certainly understand why you wouldn't want to spoil important plot points too early.

Perhaps the conversation on cuckolding is circling around an underlying issue with our protagonist... at a certain point he will be corrupt enough and have done enough that all these women in his orbit NEED his cock, but he doesn't have enough stamina to go around. Do they get jealous? do they take lovers? You can't just give half a dozen women raging libidos and desire for you and then effectively ignore them because your greed is bigger than your ball sac. If the story were to inject a teeny bit of realism as well, it takes more than just sex to keep a relationship going anyway, so where is the TIME he needs to invest in each lady? I'm of the opinion our hero needs a catch and release policy. Have fun for a while but don't be jealous that these girls need to fuck around or find a full time lover.

I'm actually a big fan of cuckolding and I cant find enough games wifh it. And it's not a clear cut alpha/beta thing. I'm an alpha on the outside, a body builder and corporate executive, but prefer to be a beta in the bedroom. I always suggest that game creators make sure the cuckold path is optional and somehow clearly labeled to appease all the players that don't like it. That way if it's not your thing, just don't go down that story path.

I wouldn't be bothered if some of the girls in game would fuck around with anybody else. Alas, I'm not much interested in seeing pictures about it happening. She's supposed to be MC's property somewhen. - Sonya was explicitly hired to show off her tits to a potential customer. And she is married. I'm not interested to see her fucking anybody else, but also wouldn't be bothered by hearing about it. My thoughts about MCs interest in her is that he wants to hump her, not make her his partner for the rest of his life. - Jessica already seems a little bit like a very... outgoing... person. So MC should expect her fucking around already. Again he might be interested to get his share, but not bothered when he's not the only one. Considering he already installed that hidden camera link, chances are great to see her fucking somebody else and in this special case it might be a turn on for MC.
