Thank you for the support! You guys and grrls are awesome!

In panel 1, I overdid it with the sparkles, so in case you can't tell, Dabbler is Hammerspacing her telepathic serial share cable.

Speaking of brand new sentences, there are brand new sentences, and then there are brand new sentences. Unfortunately, I feel like Sydney's last line on this page falls into the former category. In all the harem novels and webcomics and one-off comics on DeviantArt or HentaiFoundry, etc, involving succubi, and there's a lot of them, I feel like there is a slight chance someone has said that before. Or at least a sentiment similar enough to count. It probably mentions wards or domains instead of firewalls, but still.

Weirdly, when I was drawing my unicorn character's arguably not-entirely feminist exploits and posting them to a website that you might go to if you had an affinity for furry things, I had already worked out all this crazy anti-magic stuff and superpowers and a bunch of other things that may yet be revealed in the comic. That stuff just never really came up in the previous set of pictures involving him. It was extraneous to the milieu, you might say... if you weren't quite using the word milieu correctly.

But I would guess that almost anyone who reads any sort of fiction has an encyclopedia of world building in their head involving their own characters. Or... maybe extended-universe fanfic where the Stargate malfunctions and drops Daniel Jackson off in the world of Horizon Zero Dawn alongside Shoto Todoroki of My Hero Acadamia, only they're both My-Little-Pony-ified and they're super gay for each other. That's not even a brand new sentence, either. I'm just about sure someone's written that, even if it's in a college-ruled notebook alongside some very questionable art. I don't mean questionable because of the subject matter, I mean why would they be regular MLPs in a world where every animal over 12 pounds is dead and replaced by robots? They would be Robot Ponies obviously, but no, that's too hard to draw, so they're regular ponies? How about a little consistency in your world building, Aubrey?!

Oh, speaking of "Hoss" doing the finger steeple, here's a... jeeze, 17 year old picture of him. My wife has that tattooed on her shoulder.

Wouldn't The Veil have covered him?

And here we see the truth about Dabbler, and why she was excluded at school. A succubus, distracted from sex by a technical question about how magic works? Nerd. 😎

I need a clean version of frustrated Dabbler…

Thisguy

The important questions being ‘anything that confuses Dabbler’

Michael Obert

Dabbler in the lower left is some of the best Dabbler I've seen. Very nice work

Anton Schleef

You have interesting friends when they start making fan-fic that is that wild. Though, it does sound like Aubrey needs to take a moment to take a step back and work on her world building before moving forward with her story.

JC Urza

The line "Lilith's tits" hits different when you have a kid named that, man for this moment you suck Dabbler lol

Town Crier

Excerpt from Dabbler's speech as she accepts the equivalent of a Galactic Nobel Prize for her research in "Why stupid nonmagical studs are able to fill me up to my tantrical tippy-top (but in a more formal sounding sciencey wording), ...and then this grunting primate from this backward planet, no offense intended Halo; HEY, GIRLFRIEND! *waving at an annoyed Sydney in the audience* asks that one penetrating question...

Port 6969. Nice.

Some of the cross universe fan fiction I've seen on fiction sites are completely bonkers, and usually an excuse for gay porn, marty stu self insert porn, or marty stu self insert gay porn. Not all such things are insane (and poorly written), there are some good ones (read an entertaining Doctor Who / Star Wars crossover and there is a surprisingly good ongoing Doctor Who / CP2077 crossover as well, among others). But if its an excuse for porn, it probably isn't that well written (exceptions exist... somewhere), and the more fandoms dragged together, the dumber its likely to be.

Is it just me, or have Hoss's expressions been looking an awful lot like Deus? And if you cut off his horn, it might leave a big X in the middle of his face a lot like Deus has...

Sydney strikes again. Xuriel just had her mind blown. And not in a fun way.

For how he could blend in, I was thinking the veil would cover him from the general populace until we learned he was highly magic resistant.

James C

Ah, but does the veil affect the individual, or the person seeing them? (I.e. does being magic-resistant mean that the veil can't hide him; or, does it mean that it can't hide things from him?)

James C

Clearly, the 'simple' explanation is that some amount of magic / tantric energy is generated by the act, rather than it all being absorbed from the target. Like how thrusting a magnet through a coil will still generate electricity, even if both are wrapped in insulation...
