Thank you for the support! You guys and grrls are awesome!

"Say it ain't so, doc! I only came in with a case of magma!""I'm sorry, Mr. Fuji. It's definitely diamonds. On the plus side, the tumor removal should pay for itself.""Doc, do you ever think it's weird our economy values tumors so highly?""I think it's weird humans wear our tumors on their fingers and necklaces and ears."Aaaand scene.

Sydney probably meant to say "gregariousness," which means someone who is highly sociable, outgoing, and fond of the company of others. Garrulous means being excessively talkative, especially about trivial or unimportant matters. Arguably, both words apply to Sydney, though the latter is rarely meant as a compliment.

Corite is what happens to copper when it's "mana infused." It has all sorts of neat properties that I haven't quite figured out, but it's great for smithing and enchanting. Infused metals "evolve" into new materials, you know, steel becomes adamantite, gold becomes orichalcum, etc. I'm sure Dabbler might bring it up at some point.

Stop tormenting the hungry Woof, Sydney

Its cute how she's unintentionally dangling meat in front of ~~the dog's~~ her boyfriend's face

Darkstand

given positioning and bits missing... whether intentional or not, he's definately taken a bite out of it

Honestly, it took me until the last panel to figure out how the steak was just floating there. The fork is mostly hidden behind Sydney's speech bubble to begin with, and then I was distracted by her distractingness... which by rights ought to count as a super power. At any rate, I was wondering if galactic civilization had invented hover foods. And then debating whether that would be more or less convenient than regular food. It would certainly make turning things on the grill easier.. and you could hover it over to your plate...

I love that about Sydney, how easily she forgets what she was doing because her brain took a detour. (Not saying that ever happens to me, of course.)

he definitely took a bite right before the second couch panel

I was expecting Orichalcum to be a mana-infused copper alloy, since that's what most historical greek references meant; the word literally translates as "Mountain Copper". Then again, the romans had Aurichalcum, 'Gold Copper'...

Ooh, guessing infused silver would become Mythril... I wonder what infused Titanium would become?

I am going to refer you to Doctor White, and her team of specialists. Her anesthesiologist has quite the reputation in his field, and is known by the nickname "Dopey". Her allergist, on the other hand, is quite knew to the field and has a long way to go before proving himself.

In Russian space battle, you do not win chicken dinner. Chicken dinner wins you.

Garrulousness is not bug. Is feature.

I may have mentioned this before, but I like the way that Daphne's freckles are becoming more obvious, across her multiple bodies as well. I'm sure it takes forever, but it helps make the characters distinct.

Wyrmhand

Looks the same to me as in 1469

"Take them out, doc!" "Sorry. Diamonds are forever."

It has a mouth, but…eats with its feet too? Meaning that it is constantly ingesting what it is standing on? … that’s a weird mechanic. Unstable footing? Constantly sinking into the surface it’s standing on? Did it just get created, otherwise it should have already ingested all the alloys and linoleums and dust/dirt… being in a space ship … does it eat through the hull?

Aluminum becomes mythril. Or according to the Daniel Black novels, aluminum *is* mythril, but that's not how it works in the Grrl-verse.

....new phobia unlocked. Step on a spider, and..... THAT!

When she said Corite I thought she meant Corium which is what you get in a nuclear core meltdown [see Chernobyl Elephant's Foot]

There needs to be something that becomes absurdium

I guess Mr. Mountain didn't get the briefing on the eat anything... thing.

As you can see his cheeks puffed out while he chews it it's kinda obvious.

I mean, alloys are still metal. The text just implies that Adamantium is created from Steel specifically, rather than any old type of smelted iron. Probably because it would inherit the weaknesses of cast iron that steel fixes lol

Frix is doing the Mutley Beg.

eddi_TBH

It thought the bug was squished.

And how do you tell normal gems from the sentient ones?

I now have the image of Sydney throwing "Pocket Cancer" at someone like Dale in King of the Hill threw Pocket Sand. And...I can't get it out of my head now. I'm both amused and disgusted. Mostly amused.
