Looks like Max is getting a rematch, not that we saw her first go around, but at least now we know what sort of power set this guy might be working with.

Ah, here we go. I've been wondering for a while when this guy (and everyone else on that page) would show up. This makes either three or four of them who have been revealed now, depending on if you count Deus.

I’ll actually be interested if Max gets a rematch or not. She IS in another country which US does not have a treaty with. I’m pretty sure there are higher ups who would have to approve stuff before Max, or any of the team, is allowed to do anything. And that’s assuming that Gaitlyn would accept help (Deus probably would, just to see Max in action).

Deus and Maxima are turning into two odd-ball “friends” who are having omelette at a diner and they’re the only ones there and the waitress and even the line cook don’t want to go near them. And then all heck breaks look at the Air Force reserve airport next door and Deus leaves them a $1000 tip.

What kind of adrenaline-jockeys did they find to pilot choppers in front of a fuckoff living sandstorm? The only thing that could be on them worth it is a group of supers; are they just a gambit to gather intelligence about the high-end capability of the demon army? If Max is smart and good at her job -- and we know she is -- she'll LET them, so that her team can gather intelligence about the demon army as well. Max won't be gathering intelligence herself; she'll be dealing with Giant Sandstorm Guy.

Oooooookay. A living sandstorm bigger than a mountain range VS Ms "One Person Nuclear Power". Even not counting all the other supers in Galtyn right now, the collateral damage has the potential to be off the charts.

I'm kind of hoping Deus has something that'll ROTFLSTOMP the guy. Taking Maxima down a few pegs sounds like a good time to me. Maybe Tom's army will have something? Or Dabbler. Or the Alari.

I actually LOVE the artwork on the old page you linked. I have never NOT liked your artwork and sometimes I miss the old, goofy looking stuff. Like an anime which switches to chibi mode at times. :D
