I crashed on the newest live version when trying to remove corruption at the church. I will message the error log.

I'm a little confused about the girl looking for the city. No matter what, even when I pass the checks, I will gain corruption and it feels like I always fail the event. I always skip the event because of it. Is this intentional?

The outcome in this event depends on how many maps your hero is carrying. I would advise you to skip it until you have at least 3 maps, which is the minimum required to trigger the good end. The more maps you have, the less you two walk around.
